On the 8th day of ceremonies, Moses teaches Aaron and the Israelites the rituals of consecration. 2. (9:8-21) Aaron offers a sin-offering for himself, then Aaron and his sons offer a sinoffering on behalf of the people. 3. (9:21-24) Moses and Aaron bless the people, and the Kavod (presence, glory) of God descends upon the Tabernacle. 4. (10:1-7) Nadav and Avihu, Aaron's sons, offer strange fire, and they die by fire that comes forth from before God. 5. (10:8-11) Priests are prohibited from drinking alcoholic beverages when they are to serve in the Tabernacle. Scholarship Applications for Jewish Summer Camps Due May 15 th The Beth David Youth Commission is now accepting scholarship applications for Jewish summer camps. It is best that you book your camp reservation as soon as possible since they fill up rather quickly. The scholarship application contains all information regarding eligibility. You may obtain a scholarship application from the Beth David office or by downloading one from the Beth David Youth web-page at The deadline for an application is May 15th and recipients will be notified by May 31st.
