4 Ilan Ramon Day School Shalom Bayit Katan!"# $%& '()* A "little" bit just for ECE Noah in E3A is careful to fold his dough into triangle shapes for hamentaschen. E2 loves making challah each week! We measure, crack eggs, stir, and knead and knead our dough! In E3B, the children were very busy geting ready for Purim. We made groggers, masks, crowns, hamentaschen, and decorated bags for the carnival. Purim week was so much fun in E4 with our Buddies! We exchanged Misloach Manot, painted each other's faces, and went to the Carnival together!!!
5 Parent org Pipeline A BIG Thank You! to all the parents, grandparents, alumni, and community members who set up tents and chairs - made sno cones - popped popcorn - swirled cotton candy - oversaw bounce houses and bouncing children - ran games - handed out prizes - painted faces - made posters - hung signs and decorated - served pizza, salad and oranges - taught classes and SO MUCH MORE in support of the Purim Carnival and MID. We could not do it without all of your support. Save the MAY Dates! 16 & 17 THE LAST RESTAURANT FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR WILL BE HELD AT MARIAS IN AGOURA AND WOODLAND HILLS! FLYER AND DETAIS TO COME HOME SOON! Yearbook orders are due April 15 - no exceptions! Thank you to everyone who has generously donated items to the class baskets for the gala. It is greatly appreciated! If you have not yet signed up to bring an item, please do so as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you again for your support. 7 Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is coming to IRDS Tuesday, March 29th 10:30-11:30 - Kindergarten & 1st grade 11:45-12:30 - TK 12:55-2:00-2nd & 3rd grade 2:20-3:20-4th & 5th grade TK - 5th grade parents are invited to observe your class' program!! TK -- ADVENTURES OF C. WEED THE SNAIL & HIS FRIENDS: Learning comes alive through the wonders of puppets! Preschool students will be taken on a wild, undersea adventure and touch LIVE tidepool animals along the way. This interactive class includes an overview of some unique ocean animals and hands-on specimen time your young explorers will be sure to enjoy. K/1 -- AT HOME IN THE SEA: Sea stars, urchins, lobsters and crabs are just some of the sea animals highlighted in this fun and interactive hands-on class! Young explorers will dive into an ocean of discovery and touch some strange, slippery, slimy and LIVE ocean creatures that make the tidepools their home. 2/3 -- THAR SHE BLOWS! A WHALE OF A LESSON: Examines the differences between different types of whales. Includes whale sounds, a whale breathing experiment, and one of our students transformed into a whale! 4/5 -- TEN ARMS & AN ATTITUDE: SQUID DISSECTION Students will get face to face with some denizens of the deep. Octopus, squid, and their relatives are explored as our 4th and 5th graders wrestle with tentacles, examine different types of squid, and perform an actual dissection.

All the great help made the whole event go smooth.!!everyone had an easy and fun time working the carnival. The kids all had a funfilled day from the carnival, to MID, to the dismissal bell ringing. Parents are invited to a Passover Recipe Exchange gathering. Day: Thursday, April 14th. Time: 11:30-1:00 Location to be determined Bring your favorite prepared passover friendly dessert, and join us for a dairy lunch and learning with Bat-hen and Rabbi Sarah Hronsky.
