Ladies Tehillim Group Join this group of women who finish the book of Tehillim [Psalms] each week in half an hour in Hebrew or English. Education The Rabbi s weekly Talmud Shiur A weekly interactive study session, with Whitefield Shul s spiritual leader Rabbi Jonathan Guttentag looking at a broad variety of topical and interesting Jewish issues through the lens of classical halachic sources from ancient Talmud to contemporary response. Fortnightly sedra shiur with in the shul Wednesday nights at 8:15pm; a stimulating and enjoyable chance to hear insights into the sedra from one of the most distinguished Rabbonim in Manchester. 1 to 1 learning - Come and learn with one of our Whitefield Community Kollel boys. Topic of your choice. Open every evening from Sunday to Thursday from 6:45pm to 7:45pm come and learn for the full hour or just part of it. Come and study with your son or in a group. Just turn up on the night if you want to learn or events@theforumwck.org. Daf Hayomi shiur - (7:00pm Sunday to Thursday) with Rabbi Pinny Cohen (plus 8:00am on Sunday). 5 Women s learning - Informal weekly group that study in pairs a topic of your choice, from Jewish History to the weekly portion, the depth behind Shabbat to Pirkei Avot and also Jewish philosophy to mention but a few. Friendship Club: Meets every Tuesday in the Amelan & Verber Hall from 12:30pm onwards for Bridge, Kaluki and a social. She seeks wool and flax and works willingly with her hands: Proverbs 31 verse 13. Girls / ladies come and learn to knit at our new Knitting Club for girls and ladies. Every Sunday at 5pm. Exclusive to Whitefield for the whole of Manchester; world renowned bestselling author Rabbi Hanoch Teller will be presenting his new documentary The Chassidim. Look out for posters in the shul and in the local newspapers. An evening of Folk, Jokes and What You Will: After Shabbat 16 th Feb at 8:00pm at Family Dardick 2, Old Hall Road. Donations at the door, all proceeds to Tay Sachs. To participate or join us please contact Brian Rose on Children Children s service 11:00am in the Youth Centre every Shabbat, services run for pre-school ages by Devorah Weinstein and Miriam Balshine. The last Shabbat of every month we hold a special Children s Service Birthday Kiddush whereby all the children under the age of 7 who have had a birthday that month receive a written invitation from the Shul to come and join us at the Children s Service and we have a special Kiddush at the end, sing happy birthday and have lots of fun.

6 Shabbat Junior Service: 11:00am Alternate weeks, Sammy Morhaim and the outstanding YC leaders will present "My Big Fat Whitefield Junior Service" for children aged 7-11, downstairs in the YC. B nei Akiva: BA starts at 3:30pm and finishes at 5:00pm - ages 6 & up. The Youth Centre: The "YC" - Celebrating its 21st birthday and everyone gets the key to the door of the world renowned, internationally acclaimed, brilliant and unique youth centre unrivalled by any other Jewish community in the UK and beyond. For barn-storming, tub-thumping events and activities for 0-18 year olds in Whitefield it has to be the "YC". Accept no substitute! YC Weekly programme. Stay and Play - Enjoy our new mother and baby "stay and play" at the Whitefield shul, every other Tuesday from 10:00 12:00am. There will be a wide selection of toys for ages 0-3 years! From soft play mats, to crafts corner to cars and seesaws we have it all! Come along and meet other mummys and enjoy tea or coffee and a light snack for both you and your little one. CLUB 13 wishes to provide our young boys with a very fun experience in a Shul environment. We run fortnightly programs as well as arranging many adventurous outings. All attendees acquire a sense of connection to the shul as well as greater understanding of their religion.
