1 Subject: Result of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Judicial) Competitive Examination 2013 Deployment of Candidates for Medical Examination. NOTIFICATION No. PSC/EX-17/39 DATED: Whereas, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Department vide communication no. LD(A) 2011/70 dated referred 12 posts of Munsiffs to the Commission for being to be filled up through the Competitive Examination 2013; and whereas, these posts were advertised by the Commission vide Notification no. PSC/Exam/2013/111 dated: ; and whereas, in response to the above advertisement, 2029 Application Forms were received and 2020 candidates called for appearing in the Written Examination; and whereas, the Examination was conducted from to both at Jammu and Srinagar; and whereas, 457 candidates appeared in all papers; and whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission in accordance with Rule 13 of J&K Civil Service (Judicial) Recruitment Rules, 71 candidates were declared to have qualified for viva voce; and whereas, the interviews of the said candidates were conducted from to ; and whereas, the Commission in its extra ordinary meeting held on decided to declare the result of all the candidates who had appeared in the interview and also to notify their aggregate marks while publishing a list of candidates to be summoned for Medical Examination in accordance with the relevant rules. Now therefore, in pursuance of J&K Civil Service (Judicial) Recruitment Rules, 1967, read with J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examinations) Rules 2005 as well as the above decision taken by the Commission; i) The result of 71 candidates who had appeared in the interview of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Judicial) Competitive Examination 2013 at Srinagar w.e.f to is hereby notified as per Annexure-I to this notice. 2 ii) Consequent upon (i) above 11 out of 12 candidates as per Annexure-II of this notice and other rules on the subject, by order of their aggregate merit in the written as well as interview read with J&K Reservation Rules (SRO 294) have to report to the Medical Boards for conduct of their Medical Examination in accordance with rules on the subject. The Medical Board, date and venue shall be notified separately. The selection against S.No.6 in Open Category shall remain withheld in face of the orders dated passed by Hon ble High Court in SWP No.652/2014 & CMA No.919/2014 titled Karan Sharma V/S State & Others. Necessary intimation to the candidates listed in Annexure-II for Medical Examination is being sent separately. The candidate will have to pay a fee as prescribed before Medical check-up. Note: 1. Mere calling a candidate(s) for Medical Examination shall not confer any right on him/them to be recommended for selection. 2. Detailed marks cards shall be available on the website of the Commission after completion of the examination process and after forwarding the select list to the government for making appointments. 3. Any candidate who has taken the examination and is desirous of undertaking scrutiny of his marks and rechecking of his result in accordance with J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examinations) Rules, 2005 may apply to the Commission within one month from the date of declaration of the result for which a fee of 100 per paper through a Demand Draft drawn from any branch of J&K Bank Ltd. in favour of Secretary & Controller of Examinations. The scrutiny shall in no case mean any re-evaluation of the marks awarded by the Examiner and would mean rechecking of the totaling of the marks awarded by the Examiner and if any question has been left unmarked. 4. The lists notified are provisional subject to the outcome of writ petition(s) pending before any Competent Court of jurisdiction. 5. One post under Open Merit has been kept reserved in pursuance of the orders dated of Hon ble High Court in SWP No.652/2014 & CMA No.919/2014 titled Karan Sharma V/S State & Others.
