Notification No. 41 PSC (DR-S) of 2017 Dated: Whereas, Health and Medical Education Department referred 04 posts (:03, RBA:01) of Lecturer in the discipline of Surgery (GMC-Jammu) to the Public Service Commission for being filled up from amongst the suitable candidates; and whereas, the Commission notified these posts vide Notification No. 04-PSC (DR-P) of 2016 dated: ; and whereas, in response to the above notification, 47 application forms have been received by the Commission and 42 candidates were found eligible for the said posts; and whereas, the interview of the eligible candidates was held on in the office complex of the J&K Public Service Commission Office, Solina, Srinagar. Now, therefore, on the basis of performance in the interview coupled with the weight-age in respect of academic merit, experience and other related parameters, the Merit of the candidates who appeared in the interview is enclosed as Annexure-A to this Notification. Consequent upon the above, the Select List of the candidate against the available post is given in Annexure-B to this Notice. Note:- 1. The Commission reserves the right to have certificate/documents of the candidate verified, if it is at any stage found expedient to do so. The Select List is provisional and is subject to the outcome of writ petitions pending before any competent Court of law.
