Subject: Appointment of candidates to the Junior Scale of the J&K Administrative Service, the J&K Police (Gazetted) Service and the J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service under direct recruitment quota through the Combined Competitive Examination, Reference: J&K Public Service Commission's letter No. PSC/Ex- 14/KAS dated Government Order No:299-GAD of 2018 Dated: Pursuant to the selection made on the basis of the Combined Competitive Examination-2014 and as recommended by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary appointment of the candidates as per Annexure-I to this order, against the posts in the Junior Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, J&K Police (Gazetted) Service and J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service in the pay band of Rs ,800 with grade pay of Rs.4800 with immediate effect. The appointees shall be on probation for a period of two years during which they shall undergo such training and pass the Departmental Examination as prescribed under rules. The candidates allotted to Junior Scale of KAS and hailing from Kashmir and Jammu Divisions shall report in Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development, Srinagar/Jammu respectively. However, the candidates hailing from Ladakh region may join, as per their convenience, either at IMPARD Srinagar or IMPARD Jammu. The candidates allotted to the J&K Police (Gazetted) Service and the J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service shall report to the Director General of Police, J&K and the Director General, Accounts J&K respectively. 2 The appointees shall be allowed to join only on production of the following certificates in original:- (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) Qualification Certificate Date of Birth Certificate Permanent Resident Certificate Relevant Category Certificate Any other certificate required under rules -the candidates who fail to join within a period of 21 (twenty one) days from the issuance of this order shall forego right to their appointment which shall be cancelled forthwith. The salary of the appointees shall be drawn and disbursed to them after the receipt of the verification report from the verifying agency, viz. CID and subject to production of an affidavit (as per Annexure-11) to this order. In case, any candidate is adversely reported upon by the verifying agency viz. CID or the relevant category certificate is found not to be genuinefvalid, hefshe shall have no claim to hold the post to which appointed and hisfher appointment shall automatically stand cancelled without any further notice. It is further ordered that the names in the appointment order shall not be construed in order of their seniority which shall be determined by their respective cadre controlling departments in terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, The appointment/allocation of the candidates to the respective services shall be subject to the outcome of the writ petition(s), if any, pending adjudication before any Competent Court. I understand that the verification report in respect of the category certificate has not been furnished by the concerned Deputy Commissioner in my case. I, therefore, undertake that in the event of permitting me to join, pending receipt of the character/antecedents verification report and the category certificate report, I shall have no claim for the post in the event of my being adversely reported upon by the verifying agency viz.
