Government Order No. I I b -FD of 2017 Dated: Whereas, in order to update the seniority list of the Guards of Excise and Commercial Taxes Departments, it is expedient to exclude the names of officials, who have either been promoted to the next higher post substantively or have retired on superannuation, and include those who have been appointed to the posts of Guards through the authorized channel of direct recruitment/promotion and has completed probation. Whereas, in order to update the seniority list, a tentative seniority list of Guards, indicating the position as on , was notified vide Notice, dated wherein objections, if any, in the said list were invited from all concerned within a period of 30 days from the date of the issue of the notice; Whereas, nine representations have been received from the following officials through the concerned Heads of Department, which have been scrutinized under rules and requisite modifications have been incorporated in the seniority list as below:- s.
