4 JAMMU AND KASHMIR STATE JUDICIAL ACADEMY AT JAMMU It is notified for information of all the candidates who have applied for direct recruitment to the post of Private Secretary in the J&K State Judicial Academy pursuant to Notifications No. 1 of 2009 dated: , No. 2 of 2009 dated: , Notification No. 1 of 2011 dated: , Notification No. 2 of 2015 dated: and Notification No. 3 of 2015 dated: , that Shorthand-Typing test and Written Test shall be conducted in the J&K State Judicial Academy, Janipur, Jammu for candidates of Jammu province and for candidates of Kashmir province in J&K State Judicial Academy, Mominabad, simultaneously on Sunday, 17th of April, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. Candidates mentioned in Annexure B are eligible to sit in the examination (Shorthand-Typing test and Written examination) as per syllabus given in Annexure A and the candidates mentioned in Annexure C are informed that their application forms stand rejected as they do not fulfil the eligibility criteria laid down in the advertisements notification mentioned above. All the candidates whose particulars are reflected in Annexure B are directed to collect their Roll No. slips from State Judicial Academy at Janipur, Jammu / Mominabad, w.e.f. 11 th of April to 16 th of April, 2016 during office hours. The candidates are required to bring latest passport size photograph alongwith I-Card to collect the Roll No. slips and bring hard card board alongwith them at the time of written test for writing examination. 5 Annexure A (a) Shorthand Typing Test: (45 Marks) I. Candidates would be required to write in Shorthand 500 words dictated in words per minute. II. The dictation taken in shorthand shall be typed out/transcribed using computer keyboard, within words per minute. (b) Proficiency in English and General Knowledge Test (40 Marks) The test would be aimed at assessing the General Knowledge of the candidates and their proficiency in English at Graduation level.
