The classification of posts belonging to Ministerial/non-Ministerial/technical cadre/categories as reflected in the tentative seniority list has been formulated in consonance to the recruitment and conditions of services rules as applicable to the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Secretariat and rules and regulations notified by the government from time to time, as required under rule 7(2) of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Services Rules, The date/s of birth recorded in the list may not be taken as authentic, but subject to verification of Matriculation Certificate/Service Books. The seniority positions of the employees as shown in the list shall be purely tentative. The list is displayed on the office notice board/official website for information and perusal of the employees. Any employee having any objection in respect of the position assigned to him/her in the list, he/she may submit his/her representation to the Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, with relevant documentary support, within a period of 5 (five) days of notification of this list. Any claim or objection for being superior on the heads of others or related to other particulars with regard to date of or promotion etc. submitted beyond the prescribed period, shall be treated as null and void.
