6 Today s Announcements The First English Family Fun Fest is Saturday, October 27 th from 8-1. There are baskets on the table in the fellowship hall for those who are willing to take and make a basket. Thank you & please join us for the day! ~ First English Social Ministry On November 17th at First English from 8:30 to noon, Pastor Ken Polley will be presenting material to help us as the United Parish help us discover God's idea and mandate for the local church. All board members and congregation members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Those interested in helping with Teen Ministry, please speak to Pastor Jim. Today is Penny Pot Sunday. Penny Pot Sunday is an opportunity for women and their families to provide support for a community organization through a special offering. This year our donations will again be given to Heartland Homes. Many of you have been saving pennies and loose change throughout this year or will be making a special donation. Checks may be made to First English Women. These donations are tax deductible. Heartland Homes Mission is to provide services which will empower persons with disabilities to live the best life possible. The LYO is selling poinsettias for the Christmas Eve Service. The cost is $12 each. Please see any LYO member to purchase. Orders need to be placed by 11/5. If there is anyone who has lost a loved one in the past year and would like to have them remembered on All Saints Sunday, please speak to one of the pastors or call the church office at There will be no Sunday School on 11/4 & 11/11.
