7 Today s Announcements The LCMC Annual Gathering is October 7 to 10, 2018 in Des Moines, Iowa. Please speak to a pastor or council member if you are interested in attending or would like more information. Confirmation begins on Wednesday, September 26 th at 4:00 PM. October 7 th is Youth Sunday. The Portals of Prayer booklets are now available. On October 13 th and November 17th at First English from 8:30 to noon, Pastor Ken Polley will be presenting material to help us as the United Parish help us discover God's idea and mandate for the local church. All board members and congregation members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
