Father, we thank you for the gift of a relationship with you. Leader: Even though we fail to live up to your will, you hold us close and comfort us. All: Mother, we thank you for your warm embrace. Leader: As you walked the streets of Jerusalem, you never looked past an individual, each one was special. All: Jesus, we thank you for knowing us by name. Leader: Your Spirit sets us free from our selfish ways so that we can look up and see one another with love. 6 Communion Distribution As we celebrate this sacrament, all are invited to the Lord s Table. God is really present - in bread and wine - forgiving sins and promising new life. In the distribution, individual cups have been pre-filled with wine or white grape juice (in the center of the trays).
