3 PRAYER BEFORE DIVINE WORSHIP Blessed Lord, You have caused all Holy Scriptures to be written for our learning. Grant that we may so hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them that, by patience and comfort of Your Holy Word, we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. 4 Pastor: Thomas said to Jesus, Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way? Response: Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. Jesus is the One who has reconciled us with the Father. He alone is the way, the truth and the life.
