We are in process of updating our office hours, schedule, and staff. We hope to have an update available within the next week or two. M S : Markus Stahl and Daniela Stahl are requesting a transfer of membership to Fort Garry MB Church in Winnipeg. We wish them God s blessing in their new church home. 5. L P? Donations will be accepted to cover the cost of the food. Additionally, please bring some food to share based on your last name: Last names beginning with A-M please bring a vegetable or fruit platter, N-Z please bring dessert (drop off in the kitchen). Plates, hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, and ice cream will be provided. There will be good old fashioned church picnic games for kids after lunch. We will also have a bouncy castle. Stay after lunch! On September 14th and 15th, 2018, MCC BC will be hosting its 49th annual Festival for World Relief - a weekend of food, fun and fundraising for MCC's work of responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice in the name of Christ! 2. Clearbrook MB Church has been holding seminars for seniors for the last 5 years. The seminars cater to the concerns of seniors. Two upcoming events: Grief and Loss Seminar: Tues. Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25, Oct 2 Coffee: 9:30am, Seminar: 10:00-11:15am (Free Seminar) at Clearbrook MB Church Older Adults Wellness Festival: Thursday, Oct. 18 Come and go event from 8:30am 3:00pm, at Garden Park Tower This festival will have vendors/displays of interest to seniors. There will be 6 seminar sessions along with a panel discussion. (Free) 3. MCC job position: MCC is looking for the right person to fill the position of Director of Development and Advancement. Call Ron at M2/W2 Association Gala: The Annual M2/W2 Gala Event will be held on Saturday, October 20 at 6pm in the Magnolia Room at Garden Park Towers, 2825 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. We look forward to an evening of stories, fellowship and a silent auction. We hope to take the opportunity to bring you up-to-date on the journey of M2/W2 Association through our work with inmates one:one, through transitions through the Hidden Treasures Thrift Stores and through the work being done in the community with released inmates through the No One Leaves Alone (NOLA) program. 6. MB Mission and South Abbotsford Church invite you to experience Rob Reimer of Renewal Ministries International as he leads us through his Soul Care Conference, based on his book, Soul Care: 7 Transformational Principles for a Healthy Soul. Pray for the increasing number of first-generation Christians in churches of Lithuania, and for this couple to overcome the distrust often shown to new religious groups.
