1 The Hollis Presbyterian Church The Church Where Love Grows The Rev. Dr. Mark L. Chapman, Pastor Elder Delores Beagles, Liturgist November 11, :00 a.m. Gathering Introit The Call To Worship We Have Come Into This House The Processional Hymn To God Be The Glory # 66 Invocation The Prayer of Confession We gather here, not to seek your love, but to respond to it. We gather, not to gain your favor, but to bask in the wonder of it. We gather, not to explain ourselves, but to open our souls to receive your pardon. We gather, not in your name, but in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen Assurance of Pardon Apostles Creed: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried; the third day He arose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the Holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting.... The Gloria Patri
