VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL PRAISE REPORT The 2017 Vacation Bible School was a tremendous success.

1 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL PRAISE REPORT The 2017 Vacation Bible School was a tremendous success. We had a total of 178 children enrolled in the morning and evening sessions. Seven children made the decision to accept Christ as their Savior! Praise God! Donations from VBS kids, their families and our GBC families totaled $2392 for sponsorship of 7 children in Haiti. (Our original goal had been to sponsor 4! God provided exceedingly abundantly) We would like to thank the 78+ volunteers and especially Sheryl Vandyke, Kate Mullaney, Amy Hargrove and Kaylene Sullen for all of their hard work organizing this event. Thank you also to those who came to help decorate the church and those who helped clean up and got the church ready on Sunday. It really took the whole church body to make it happen and we hope Makendy Similien, Age: 14 Grade: Fourth Grade Rosena Pierre, Age: 13 Grade: Fifth Grade Judelet Torbeck, Age: 10 Grade: Fourth Grade Three Additional Kids will get to go to school thanks to VBS!!! School Supplies needed by August 6 We are still collecting school supplies for the kids at Cypress Creek. Our KIDServe kids will be packing them soon so we can have them ready for the Back to School Bash! School Supply list includes: Back packs, Paper (subject spiral notebook & composition notebook), Pencil boxes,pencils, Glue, Glue sticks, Crayons, Colored pencils, Markers (Expo & classic colored), Rulers, Erasers (large pink and pencil top), Folders w/ brads and pocket, Red pens, Index cards, Paper towels. We will have a time of fellowship with the Cypress Creek families, play some games and enjoy lunch together!

GBC Youth Night at the Movies, July 27, 6-8:30 p.m. Students let s hang out and watch The Princess Bride in the youth room. Please bring one snacky type item that you can share with the group. Also feel free to bring your own comfy chair or pillow or whatever helps you kick back and enjoy a movie. Bowling, August 3 (Location and Times TBA) Join your friends and make some new ones with bowling and pizza. Don t forget to bring your socks or you may have to pay extra. Please RSVP to Brian at brian@gbcgt.org. More details coming soon. Texas Typhoon Waterpark, August 9, 9:30 am 3:30 pm. We will be going to Texas Typhoon Waterpark in Pflugerville! Cost is $24.99 per student, and includes a hamburger lunch and unlimited drinks. We will meet at the Grace Bible Church parking lot at 9:30 a.m. to gather and caravan over. Adults: If you are willing to be a caravan driver and want to chaperone, let Brian know! Our fun time is 10:30-3:30, then we will bring everyone back. Students: you will be paying us, not the people at the register, and we all need to go in together and pay as one group, so don't be late! RSVP a week ahead of time with Brian because we need to know that we have enough people between us to get our group rate.

If you want to be part of the MOLDOVA PRAYER TEAM who will commit to pray for them, please respond HERE or just send an to questions@gbcgt.org indicating that you want to pray for Pastor Dave and the rest of the team.
