New Believer s Class for elementary age children August 27 during the 9 a.m. service, Room 100. Students considering baptism should attend this class with their parents. This class is a beginning discipleship class designed for kids and their parents as they prepare for baptism. 3 Connect Group Sunday September 10 Connect Group leaders and home hosts will be available in the Gathering Area after each service to answer questions and invite you to join their Connect Group. There are 16 Connect Group to choose from. We believe that the Christian life is best lived in community, so we hope that you will desire to be a part of one of these Connect groups.

4 School of Christian Living The Position of Believers - Chapters 1-3 Sundays 9:00 a.m. beginning September 10th Ray Neathery, leader - meet at the Portable Bldg. Room 1 This will be a lecture-discussion course of the first three chapters of this marvelous book. These chapters reveal our position in Christ: we are chosen by God, we are eternally secure in him, we are given incredible power to live the Christian life, we are saved entirely by his grace apart from works, we are united with all believers in the church and all believers are equal in the body regardless of their calling. This will be an in-depth, verse by verse study. Sundays 10:30 a.m. Beginning September 10th Led by Pastor Rick Portable Building Room 2 Join Pastor Rick for this life-changing study covering many Biblical truths that are often times not understood and therefore never experienced.

Room 1, Begins September 10, Led by Les & Susan Carter The Return to Intimacy by Jimmy Evans, has helped thousands of couples recapture the passion they believed was long lost from their marriage. In this class you ll discover how to dramatically increase the closeness of your relationship, while drawing near to God as a couple. Obviously, no parent is guaranteed that as a result of their best efforts, their children will turn out the way they d like. But we do know that we can increase that likelihood if we understand the big picture of our role in their lives and follow some specific principles of effective parenting. Women s Bible Study The Light of the World - Who is Jesus? This is answered by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. This is the most important study there is, because of Who we will be studying - His life and teachings! 6 Awana will resume in September and we're looking for teens/adults to serve. We will meet from 5:30-6:30 on Wednesdays at the church. There will be groups for 3-4 year old, kindergarten-2nd grade, and 3rd-5th grade. We need help with each age group. There is very little preparation required.
