The things we do and say impact others in ways beyond our imagining, and often we hurt the ones we are closest to. Give us the grace to ask for forgiveness, to seek healing, and to continue to pursue good and healthy relationships. Show us what it means to love fully and truly. 5 Welcome PHPC New Members Blair Black and Shannon Graf Blair and Shannon have a daughter, Layla. Their current church home is Second Presbyterian Church, Charleston, SC. Shannon is an Elder. Gordon and Lynette Brown Gordon is retired from Boy Scouts of America and Lyn is retired from Baylor University Medical Center. They have one son, Brian, 45, who is married with a son. Drew and Sally Dahlstrom Drew grew up in Colorado, and Sally grew up in Texas in the Catholic church. They met at TCU. and have a six-month-old son, Beau. Drew works at Higginbotham, and Sally works at Haynes & Boone. Freddie Michaels and Kristen Whitworth Freddie and Kristen are from North Carolina.They are planning to be married in May Gibbs and Marjon Henderson Marjon works at Neiman Marcus, and Gibbs works at Waters & Kraus LLP. They have a two-yearold daughter, Piper. Aimee Sheahan Aimee works with ZRG Partners. She and her husband David have two children, Julia (12) and Ella (7). Patrick and Julie Swearingen The Swearingens have attended worship at PHPC since the fall of 2015 and have two daughters, Sidney and Isabelle, who are both students at Davidson University.

Poinsettias and Wreaths for the PHPC Holiday: This year we will be selling poinsettias at $12 each and fresh Noble fir wreaths at $25 each to decorate PHPC for Christmas.There will be volunteers in the Atrium taking orders on November 19 & 26.You can also place orders in the PHPC office with Katie Dollar or at The deadline to order is November 26. The poinsettias and wreaths will remain in place through Christmas Eve. Faith and Grief Luncheon: Come join with others experiencing the pain of grief at the next Faith and Grief Luncheon on Thursday, November 16, noon to 1 pm, in Jubilee Hall. Serve Operation Turkey: Donations of bottled water, scarves, toiletries, and blankets will be collected in the PHPC Atrium through Tuesday, November 21. Volunteer through Operation Turkey to distribute these items along with a Thanksgiving meal. Volunteers needed Wednesday, November 22 and Thursday, November 23. Sign up at The YMCA Turkey Trot: Thousands of Dallas residents will be running/walking the YMCA Turkey Trot. The PHPC Hospitality Tent will offer refreshments and invitations to race participants. You can also pledge online at Every Dollar Counts November EDC will go toward Operation Turkey, a nonprofit organization that coordinates volunteers and donations to serve over 40,000 Thanksgiving Day meals for those who would otherwise go without.
