4 Prayers and Praises Praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens! Praise Him for His mighty deeds; praise Him according to His excellent greatness! (Psalm 150:1, 2) Pray for our mothers and grandmothers today as we honor them and their gifts to us through our Lord Jesus. I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart... (Psalm 111:1) Missions Prayer Focus Pray for the Foundations Early Learning and Family Center in Fairfield. This pre-k program provides a Christian environment to develop children academically, physically, socially, and spiritually. Pray that God will instill the staff with the fruit of His Spirit and with humility to serve these families well. Continue steadfastly in prayer... Colossians 4:2a Opportunities for Ministry and Growth Pick one of the Shepherd Meeting for VBS Tues., May 15 at 10:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. in FH-A&B. All rising K5 6th grade shepherds should make plans to attend a meeting. Nursery only available for the morning meeting at briarwood.org/nursery. Get away to Florida with Pastor Reeder this July 27 29! McIlwain PCA in Pensacola, in partnership with the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, will host Insuppressible Glory, Gospel, and the Design of Life. Go to briarwood.org/conferences. The flowers in the Worship Center are given to the glory of God in honor of all mothers. WOC would like to encourage our women to get to know fellow Briarwood members who live in their part of town by organizing groups based on location.
