1 Route 46 East, Netcong, NJ Volume 11, Issue 2. Living with Impact & Intention Friday evening, March 8 and Saturday, March 9, 2013 Embassy Suites, Parsippany, NJ Cost: $100 (includes lodging for Friday night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday) And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved. (NLT) Matthew 9:17 The goal of New Wineskins Women s Retreat is to examine, in a multi-faceted way, your personal influence and how God wants to infuse your influence with His supernatural power. You will choose from eight different workshops including, The Peacemaker, Lifestyle Evangelism, Boundaries, Spiritual Gifts, Hearing God Developing a Conversational Relationship with God, Anger Management and more! All workshops will be led by women with whom you worship every week. Fun activities are planned so that you can develop new friendships and strengthen current ones. You will not want to miss this exciting event. Are you looking for the perfect Valentine s Day gift for someone? Purchase a gift card and send them to the retreat. Space is limited so sign up early. Contact Sherrie McDonald at sherrie@grace4families.com. U When we join together in little convoys of believers, the effect is powerful. We get to know other people, and our journey with the Lord is a lot more enjoyable and secure than when we are alone on our spiritual journey. Grace Church is forming dozens of new small groups that will help us to connect with God, God s Word, and God s people. There are groups for women, for men, as well as mixed groups (for both men and women). The name of our small group ministry is Grace Connections (GC). Want to get to know others at Grace? Join a GC group. There is a group that meets not far from where you live, and one that fits your schedule. Fill out a welcome card (blue card) or a Grace Connections card (yellow) and let us know if you want to join a group! Or call the church office ( ). Groups begin the week of February 10. SUNDAY SERVICES: NETCONG CAMPUS: 8:15, 9:45 & 11:15 A.M.
2 Welcome to Grace Church. No matter which campus you visit you will spiritually benefit from the life changing biblical teaching, worshipful praise music, and an extensive children's program. Grace is here to raise up generations of families that are built to last and we are glad you are part of it! After much anticipation, we are pleased to welcome Reuben Scheeringa to Grace as the Pastor of Student Ministries! Believe it or not, he drove from Anchorage to Netcong! His first official Sunday was January 13. Take a minute and welcome Reuben to the Grace family, his is reuben@grace4famlies.com. Also, you could pray for the whole Scheeringa family as Heather and the three kids need to remain in Alaska for a time, and the separation will be difficult. Are you looking for a place to get connected on Sunday morning? Take advantage of Grace being located in two locations. You are invited to join in as we reach the Rockaway area for Christ. Come for the worship, the meaningful fellowship, or join as a volunteer in Rockaway. There are many ways to get connected. But the first step begins with you! Consider serving twice a month, you will have a greater impact that you imagine. We meet every Sunday 10:00 A.M. at the Dennis B. O'Brien Elementary School GPS: 418 Mineral Springs Drive, Dover, NJ Contact cameron@grace4families.com for more information. UUUUUU On Saturday February 23, room 100, 8:00 A.M. your life could very well change in a remarkable way. That is the first day of the Run for God class ( Get up and come join other family members from Grace for a Bible Study as well as a training program. You know that winter can mean extra pounds and unhealthy choices. This is a way for you to combine a spiritual training with a physical discipline. The class will meet weekly and will culminate with everyone running in a 5K race. If you have never run, or if you are a seasoned runner and would like to help encourage others, there is a place for you in this class. It is geared for those of us who are non-runners. The training literally starts with jog/walk intervals for just a few minute. The class is for ages 5 and up and will run about 12 weeks. The cost of the book is $19. For more information Dave Hickey at djhickey@comcast.net. Sign ups begin Sunday, February 3. If you would like to learn about the power of prayer, what it means to walk a biblical walk, how to read and understand your Bible or anything about Christianity, we would invite you to come to a "New Believer's Class". If you have never had any training on basic Christian disciplines like prayer, Bible study, how to have a daily devotional time, or even answer the question: "How can I be sure I am going to heaven?" This is the class for you. The class begins on Sunday, March 3 at 9:45 A.M., and meets in the white house (8-week class). Sign up in the lobby beginning February 10. The cost of the class is $10. For more information, contact John Kedash at or jkedash@gmail.com.

6 Beginning February 18 Monday evenings, 6:45 8:30 P.M. Room 105 Books $15 Are you the one always giving or always giving in? Do you feel compelled to rescue and fix others even though you are hurt in the process? Do you feel the need to control others and be responsible for solving their problems? Are you stuffing resentment and anger because it isn t Christian to have these feelings? If you can identify with these issues, we encourage you to join us for the Conquering Codependency study.
