7 WEEKDAY STUDIES Women's Ministry: Joy in the Morning 9:15-11:30 A.M. Wednesdays Beginning September 19th Bldg. A JOY in the Morning invites you to join in our warm, inter-generational community that will help you understand the context and meaning of the Bible so you can apply it to your life with fellowship, support, and prayer. Free childcare provided with registration. This semester we will offer two different study options: This class will offer two study options, Mark (LifeChange) or Numbers: Learning Contentment in a Culture of More. A The Real God, Chip Ingram Do you know a god or do you know the real God? Our distorted view of God is the root of many of our problems. Does your god only faintly resemble the God of Scripture? Mental idols comfort our emotions, but they are powerless to transform our lives. The way back, the path of hope, starts with knowing God for who He really is. The Real God is a study of seven attributes of God His goodness, sovereignty, holiness, wisdom, justice, love, and faithfulness you ll see Him in a whole new light. Fridays Beginning September 21st Bldg. A We all want to be happy. Why is lasting happiness so hard to find? Join us at Free Fridays starting on September 21 as we uncover what we re really living for, and see how, in Christ, God meets our deepest desires for happiness. Free Fridays is a Bible study for all women, especially young women and mothers looking for a place to connect. No Bible knowledge is necessary and free childcare is provided. 8 WEEKDAY STUDIES Women's Ministry: Fall Precepts 6-8 P.M. Sundays Beginning September 16th Bldg. A110 Join us for our fall study, Precept Upon Precept inductive study of the book of Jude. Jude was written to warn believers of the dangers of false teachings about the true God. A timely subject in this time and place. General discussion and personal application of the text is encouraged. The class is team lead by Teresa Burgess and Pam Graboyes. Each lesson is divided over 2 weeks including time to watch a Kay Arthur teaching video. We welcome new students at anytime or to drop in. The ALPHA Course 6:30-8:30 P.M. Tuesdays Beginning September 18th Bldg. F101 Have you ever desired to explore the Christian faith in an open, friendly, questions-are-welcome atmosphere? Do you have questions about God or who Jesus Christ is but don't have any place to ask them? The Alpha course is a 10-week opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed environment with others who are also exploring Christianity. Each week a different topic is presented in an informal atmosphere, where you may ask questions or just sit and listen. Some topics include: "Who Is Jesus?", "Why Did Jesus Die?" and "How Can I Be Sure of My Faith?" More information available online. DivorceCare 7:15-9:15 P.M. Mondays Beginning September 24th Bldg. B201 DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life s most difficult experiences. Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they ve ever faced. It s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you ve never faced before. Our DivorceCare group meets weekly on Mondays, September 24th through December 17th to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Register online.
