2 One Church Multiple Locations Our Mission Pursuing Jesus Together in Everyday Life Our Vision To be a church where Jesus transforms lives, renews the city, and impacts the world. Our Plan GATHER...to worship Jesus invites us to worship Him and to be in awe of His greatness and goodness GROW...in Christ-likeness Transformed by the Gospel through Biblical community GO...on mission Sent as Jesus was sent, for the good of our neighbors and the nations, sharing the Gospel personally, in community, and as a church. Biblical basis for this plan: Mark 3:13-15, the reason Jesus invited disciples to follow Him--that they might come to Him, be with Him, and go out in His power/authority--gather, Grow, and Go. Our Traits We pursue Jesus together, becoming disciples who... Enjoy God s Presence (Worship/Prayer) A people unleashed by the Gospel to pursue God--our loving Father through Jesus the Son by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 22:37-39; John 15:5, 8; Psalm 16:11) Live God s Story (Bible) A people hungry to learn and live out the Bible--the true story of the Gospel-- God s redeeming work in Jesus that equips us for every good work. (John 8:31-32; 2 Timothy 3:16-17) Love God s People (Community) A people devoted to love one another as Jesus has loved us proving that we truly follow Him. (John 13:34-35; I John 4:9-12) Share God s Gifts (Generosity) A people who sacrificially share our lives including our money, time, and abilities, for the good of others proving that we are cared for by a generous God. (Matthew 6:19-21; 33-34; Philippians 4:19; Luke 14:33) Serve God s World (Evangelism and Justice) We are sent by Jesus to declare and display the goodness of God for the good of our neighbors and the nations. (Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 19:10; Mark 10:45; John 20:19-23)
