2 NOTICES: COINS FOR A CAUSE As you enjoy your cuppa aer church please consider contribu#ng to missions through our Coins for a Cause jar, located near our servery. Each year we raise significant funds for our missionaries who are supported in rota#on. Today we are suppor#ng IRIS in Cambodia. They are an organisa#on commi=ed to ending human trafficking and sex slavery. Young at Heart Sat 3rd June. Meet at the Church 1:30 pm, for devo#ons & car pooling. We will then travel to Milawa Cheese Factory, to check out the goodies" and taste some cheeses before we indulge in a tasty aernoon tea. Pray for the Salva#on Army Red Shield Appeal. Thanks for the Salvo s and the work that they do. Working Bee Our next Working Bee is planned for Sat, 24 th June. We will be cleaning and pain#ng our playgroup equipment at Arthur s, before installing it. Please set that date aside. More details soon. TONIGHT Come along to Café church and enjoy some good food, great company, meaningful worship, and fantas#c speakers! We share a meal together at 5pm, followed by a service at 6pm. Family Ma<ers Playgroup Going to the Hairdressers This Thursday the 1st of June at 10am, one of the playgroup mums, has offered to provide free KIDS haircuts to those who are preschool age (don t worry she is trained!!)! So come along for some fun, games and fellowship! 3 The Camping Program OTC s 9-12th June Camp Corop $150 Year years old A camp for older youth who want to keep growing in God and preparing themselves for life in our broken world. Each year the speakers present relevant and challenging messages to the youth of today. Much #me is spent in sharing, singing, being encouraged by the very enabling mentors, lots of free #me, amazing food and an atmosphere of love, support and encouragement in faith and life. Music was great, food was great, acvies were great, people were great, organizing was great, leaders were great, God was the greatest!! It was just an all round great camp!!!!! For more info & to register visit The Camping Program Marriage Camp 9-12th June Cavell Manna, Tongala $300 per couple These camps are an opportunity to grow your rela#onship with #me devoted to your partner. There is no group work or discussion. The weekend felt like such a blessing to our relaonship. I feel that the benefits experienced through the sessions and the quality me we spent together have been heaps be#er than a four week holiday in the Caribbean would be!! We need a big team of teenagers and adults to run Park the Kids. Areas to help out in include, cra, music, making biscuits and sandwiches, drama, puppets, games etc. If you are interested in helping out, speak to Kane, Jaron or Shantelle about how you could help. I will gather you from all the na#ons and places where I have banished you, declares the LTUV, and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile. Ma<hew 5:17, 18, 21, 22, 27, 28 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them. 18 For truly I tell you, un#l heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest le=er, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law un#l everything is accomplished. 21 You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment. 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery. 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lus[ully has already commi=ed adultery with her in his heart.... GalaDans 3:15-18, 21, 22 Brothers and sisters, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case. 16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say and to seeds, meaning many people, but and to your seed, meaning one person, who is Christ. 17 What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. 18 For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise. 21 Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. 22 But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. Romans 5:6-8 You see, at just the right #me, when we were s#ll powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were s#ll sinners, Christ died for us.
