A special welcome to our guests worshiping with us this morning, we are glad you are here and pray that Jesus Word will touch your heart in some special way. Please sign in the Record of Fellowship as it is passed down your pew during the service. Please include your name and address, so we can thank you for joining us this week. If we can be of service to you, please let us know. OFFERINGS AND TITHES Offerings are our special gifts given to the Lord on special days or occasions or whenever we are moved to do so, for any reason. Tithes are those monetary gifts we return to the Lord on a regular basis as first fruits. We do this in response to His love, and for all the blessings that He gives to us each day. If you are a visitor today, feel free to give an offering to the Lord, but do not feel you need to do so. We pray that the Lord will continue to lead you to give your offerings and tithes in your home congregation. TO OUR GUESTS AND VISITORS Trinity s congregation confesses that the Sacrament of the Altar is the true Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ under the bread and wine, instituted by Christ himself for us to eat and drink, as a means of receiving the gift of salvation that He won for us on the cross. Participation in the Sacrament is a declaration of fellowship that is evidence of oneness in faith and doctrine; for this reason Trinity practices close communion. In faithfulness to our Lord s Word and in Christian love, only members of Trinity or of a sister congregation in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod may commune this day. All first time LCMS visitors are requested to announce your intention to commune prior to the service with Pastor or an elder. Let us pray that our Lord would, through His Holy Word, bring about unity in doctrine, faith and life ~ 2 ~

We ask God to grant each of us wisdom to know Him and courage to follow Him, as we serve Him in daily life. We also express our gratitude to God for our nation and those who serve beneath its banner. 6 JR. YOUTH GROUP : J.A.M. is in need of one or two adult leaders for the year. Please think about volunteering to help the kids achieve their goals this year. If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Totton. SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS SERVICE This year the Children s Christmas program will be incorporated into the Christmas Eve Service. We have already received the materials and would like to get an idea of how many children will be available to participate at the Christmas Eve Service. We are sending notes home with the kids today. Please complete them and return to your child s Sunday School teacher or Rose by Sunday, November 3 rd. If you have any questions you can talk to Mark Ullerich, Pastor Yahr or Rose Kunkel. **There will be a short meeting with all Sunday School teachers, Sr. Youth Group Leaders, and Church Education Advisors after church today regarding the Children s Christmas Eve Service.
