(material will be provided by pastor.) ½ Memorize: any 7 previously un-memorized verses Do one act of service, encouragement, or hospitality Level two 3-5 grade 1/8 Read one missionary letter and write and send a letter to a missionary (found on church web site) 1/8 Read book and prepare simple report 1/8 Do one act of service, encouragement, or hospitality 1/8 keep a log of personal devotions and prayer ½ Memorize: 9 consecutive verses from the verse list Level three 6-8 grade 1/8 Read one missionary letter from each of our supporting missionaries, write and send a letter to a missionary. This can be any approved project that promotes missions in the home or at church or for our missionaries on the field. 1/8 Do four acts of service, encouragement, or hospitality 1/8 Read book and prepare a one page typed report 1/8 keep a log of devotions and prayer (must be kept daily you can t make up missed days, frequency will affect outcome) Do a word study and write one page report (books available at church to photocopy) Use one of key words found in one of the verses you are memorizing. Memorize : Three verses a week (3x9=27) Previously un-memorized consecutive passages, from the verse list Word-study starter 1. Chosen verse. Chosen key word 2. Any root words and their definitions g. Any prefix or suffix or compound words. h. Relevant verses demonstrate how word is used 4. Research in word study books 5. Research in commentary books 6.
