5 ACTIVITIES & EVENTS WORSHIP SERVICE FOR NEW YEAR S EVE: Dear church family, this year s New Year s Eve service will be on Sunday, December 31 st at 3:00 p.m. at Antioch. There will be NO Sunday School classes, 11:00 a.m. service or Watch Night evening service on this day. We will gather for one service at 3:00 p.m. Please mark your calendars. NEW PEW MINISTRY: All Antioch members are invited to join this exciting new ministry! No meetings, No dues, No uniforms! Just come to church! For more details, see flyers on tables in the Sanctuary and McMickle Chapel, or contact Dea. Delores Brown. EVANGELISM - PRISON MINISTRY: If you would like to spend about an hour a week reaching out to those incarcerated without leaving your home, consider becoming a Mentor for the Crossroads Prison Ministry; a correspondence program which is part of Antioch's Evangelism Ministry. Crossroads is in need of Mentors. They will provide all you need in order to share the love of Christ with those who are incarcerated and studying the bible. If you believe this ministry is for you, please go to website, read more about it and sign up online. There are several mentors at Antioch you can talk to before you sign up. Please contact Rev. Mylion Waite or Martha Jones who will gladly discuss with you. CHRISTMAS DINNER AT ORIANA HOUSE: Antioch Prison Ministry will be serving Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day at Oriana House from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Volunteers to help cook or donate desserts are needed. Cooking days are Saturday, December 16 th through Saturday, December 23 rd in Antioch s kitchen. Hygiene kits are also given to the residents. Items include toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant and tissue packs. Cash donations also welcomed. See Margaret Peacock in Branch Hall after worship service to volunteer. CHURCH CALENDAR AND RESERVING SPACE: Please remember to contact Vivian Jackson, Office Manager, (216) x115, for your meeting space and calendar events needs. DECEMBER 19 TH CONSTITUTION COMMITTEE MEETING: The re-convening of the Antioch Constitution Committee will be Tuesday, December 19 th at 6:30 p.m. in the Deacons Office. This is our first meeting to proceed to finalizing the Constitution for adoption. We will review the comments received from the last edited version and discuss holding the reading of the second draft. We look forward to everyone's attendance on the 19 th. Dea. How can we best honor a special person? The magi traveled a great distance from their own country to Bethlehem to give gifts and pay homage to Jesus, the child born King of the Jews.
