From time to time people come to the Rectory because they have the honor of being asked to be a Godparent for a Baptism or a Sponsor for a Confirmation and they need a document from us. This document states that they are members in good standing of this parish. The only way we can comply with this request is if the individual is indeed, a registered member of the parish who worships here on a regular basis. Please note that although you may be registered with the Religious Education Office or may have made all your sacraments at St. Marys, this does not automatically mean that you are registered at the Rectory! If you would like to become a fully registered member or check to see if you are registered, please stop by or call the Rectory. If you are new to the parish, Fr. Duff would like to greet you personally! THE 2017 MASS BOOK IS NOW OPEN Masses may be requested by mail or in person at the rectory. The requested donation is $20 per Mass. Forms are available at the rear of the Church and on the parish website. Women of St. Mary s are welcome to join us for our next scripture study: Walking with Purpose Discovering our Dignity Two groups will be meeting, one in the mornings and one in the evenings, beginning September 28th & 29th, respectively. Please join the session that works best for your schedule. Wednesday session at 10:00 am Thursday session at 7:00 pm Discovering our Dignity shows us women in the Bible struggled with many of the same things that we find hard today. Relationships characterized by comparison and competition, habits leading to places of frustration and discouragement, wondering what is the point of it all... these challenges are nothing new. Through their stories recorded in Scripture, we learn where we go for true contentment and fulfillment. Please mark your calendar for their next Blood Drive which will take place in St. Mary's School on Sunday, January 8, 2017! Religious Education Families new to the Parish and new 1st graders should contact the Religious Education office at or smaryrek@gmail.com to register for classes. We are also seeking volunteers who can act as "substitute" catechists in the event a teacher cannot be present. Please contact the office if interested. Religious Education classes will begin the week of September 19th. Afternoon classes run from 4:30 to 5:45 Monday through Thursday. Evening classes run from 6:15 to 7:30 Tuesday and Wednesday.

Overseen by Family Services of Westchester, a non-profit organization, RideConnect is an information, referral, and volunteer transportation program for senior citizens, age 60+ serving southern Putnam and Westchester counties. RideConnect provides not only medical transportation but takes clients grocery shopping, to banks, hairdresser appointments, restaurants and houses of worship. Volunteers are never locked into huge amounts of hours. They tell us when they want to drive and where.
