2 CONNECTIONS from your Pastor s Heart It is Time for VBS! One of the most important efforts of the entire year is Vacation Bible School. We will invite and involve hundreds of children and volunteers to engage in a concentrated time of learning key truths about Jesus Christ that will make a massive earthly and eternal difference. Please help us in the following ways: 1. PRAY for the Lord to send lots of children. Especially ask God to draw to FBC during VBS many young people who need to understand the Gospel and commitment their lives to Christ as their Savior. Pray for the teachers to have sensitive hearts and to radiate God s magnetic love which makes them effective ambassadors for Christ. 2. BRING children. Since most kids do not drive and we do not have a fleet of buses, we need you to shoulder the task of acting like Andrew, the bringing-disciple of Jesus, and intentionally help children come to VBS. Invite and bring your child, a neighbor, a grandchild, relatives, and whoever you can find. Bringing kids to VBS is like offering them a free ticket to Disney World! Invite them to the Party on Perry Street and God will use your efforts to impact eternity. 3. ATTEND the VBS Rally on Sunday, June 26 at 6:15 pm. We will gather to worship the Lord and celebrate the Father s activity among us. Thanks so much for your invaluable intercession and support. Pray for the other leaders and for our students to effectively represent King Jesus and allow Him to do a great work in and through them! FBC Offering Envelopes are now sent quarterly. 5 VBS :: June :00 AM to Noon :: FREE! ages 4 * through 6th grade As kids are submerged in God s Word, they will discover that Jesus saw people differently. He saw people for who they were deep down, not who they appeared to be on the surface. Kids will look below the surface to find the truth about how Jesus sees them. Registration All children, including those currently enrolled in Sunday School at First Baptist Montgomery, must register for VBS. Registration Forms are available at the preschool desk and on the sanctuary foyer tables. It can also be downloaded from the VBS web page. You can drop it off at the church or bring it with you on Monday, June 20. * Child must have turned 4 by August 31, 2015 to attend VBS.
