(Psalm 119) Over the years, I have given Mary Ruth and all of our children a marked copy of the Life Application Study Bible (NIV). Let me recommend this supremely practical gift-giving option for everyoneand especially as a gift for graduates who stand at life s crossroads as they are in deep need of God s guiding and protective Truth. For instance, when my son, Jason, was preparing to go to college, I purchased a Life Application Study Bible (NIV version) and I spent several months marking passages for him from Genesis to Revelation. 3 Ministry Announcements Children s Ministry Kids, don t forget to sign up for our Summer Activities at org/event-registration. Student Ministry Students, don t forget to sign up for our Outdoor Adventure on Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30 at Senior Adult Ministry It s not too late to join the JOY Singers for our Windows on the Word musical. A special rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, May 13 at 10:00 am in the Stakely Choir Suite. Senior Adult Day is Sunday, May 17. Our JOY Singers will be singing in the morning services and all senior adults will be recognized. Plan to attend and support our seniors. During the evening service our JOY Singers will lead us in a special musical presentation called Windows on the Word. The service will be held in Stakely Sanctuary and feature the story of the stained glass windows of Stakely Sanctuary. Volunteer Opportunity of the Week: Broadcast Ministry The Broadcast Ministry is looking for individuals interested in volunteering their time in this exciting ministry. Training is provided, so experience is not a requirement. Broadcast volunteers work 1 to 2 Sundays per month in the worship services (am & pm) and for special events.
