2 PRINCIPAL S PEN ACCREDITATION REVIEW As you may or may not be aware, St. Bruno Parish School is up for a formal Accreditation Review this year. On November 18 & 19, a team comprised of Archdiocesan administrators and teachers will visit our School as part of the Review. Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation (WRISA) is a nonprofit organization formed by the Wisconsin Council of Religious and Independent Schools in 1991, to provide non-public schools with an ongoing school improvement process. This group will serve as our Accreditation agency. Throughout last school year and into this year, the St. Bruno Parish School staff has worked countless hours to review all 122 WRISA Standards of Excellence, write a narrative for each standard, and also collect evidence and surveys that support the demonstration of each standard in our school. Following the site visit and review of our report, team recommendations will be forwarded onto WRISA for additional review and final approval in June Currently, St. Bruno Parish School is a fully-accredited school. Processes are in place that are reviewed annually by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and WRISA to make this determination. An in-depth study of the entire school and operations occurs every seven years, with this year serving as our final one. As a result of our year-long study, we have developed three goals to focus on in the years to come in the areas of: Catholic Identity, Student Achievement, and Technology. We re excited for the Team to visit and share in our successes as a school. ~Lisa A. Hedrick Principal PASTORAL COUNCIL MEMBERS Fr. Ralph Gross (Pastor) Fr.
