Our 1 st Advent Service Starts December 6th. 12 Noon with pizza after the service PLEASE JOIN US SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2017, AFTER THE 10:30 SERVICE, AS WE CLEAN AND DECORATE THE CHURCH FOR CHRISTMAS. EVERYONE IS INVITED!!!! 7:00 p.m. with a soup supper before starting at 6:00 p.m. Christmas Poinsettias can be delivered to the Church beginning Monday, December 18th. As a beautiful accent to our trees, red poinsettias with gold wrapping and a white bow would be wonderful. Please make sure your florist includes on the card the name of the person(s) the plant is given in memory or in honor of and the family giving the plant. To Our Church Family, Words cannot express how we appreciated all the calls, cards, visits, food and especially the prayers that we received while Ron was in the hospital and since his return home. Please continue to remember us in prayer as Ron regains his strength. Thank you so very much. The dates are December 16 December 19. The cost is $12.00 for a pan of 20 cinnamon rolls and $6.00 for dinner rolls. The numbers of orders are limited. Saint John s Children Christmas Program will be at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 17th with a breakfast birthday party for Jesus following.

5 PRINCIPAL S CORNER Greetings! The week before Thanksgiving break, in conjunction with the church, the school collected food for the ICCM food bank. We collected over 1500 items! The classes competed to see who could bring the most items! The 6 th grade class won! I hope you will all join us for our Christmas service on Thursday, December 14 th at 6:00pm. Once again our Christmas service will be held at the Grand Prairie Center. This program will include our Preschool 2 through 6 th grade students. The school and ECE will be closed December 21 January 3. Our first day back will be January 4, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!
