The Sabbath day was now over. It was dawn on the first day of the week. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a powerful earthquake. An angel of the Lord came down from heaven. The angel went to the tomb. He rolled back the stone and sat on it. His body shone like lightning. His clothes were as white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, "Don't be afraid. I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here! He has risen, just as he said he would! Come and see the place where he was lying. Go quickly! Tell his disciples, 'He has risen from the dead. He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you." So the women hurried away from the tomb. They were afraid, but they were filled with joy. They ran to tell the disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings!" he said. They came to him, took hold of his feet and worshipped him. Matthew 28: 1-9. NIRV HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY HAPPY RESURRECTION SUNDAY THE PRAISE & WORSHIP TEAM Worshipping The Lord At Home - Sitting at the Feet of Jesus, Ways to Worship at Home Worshipping God corporately is an integral part of the Christian life. But nothing can substitute for the individual believer spending time alone with Him -The Father and His child. The Shepherd with one of His sheep. The written Word 'jumping off the page' into the heart. The Comforter coming alongside His hurting child. Sitting at the feet of Jesus until the Peace of God that passes all understanding fills to overflowing, the waiting soul. Outlined in the article posted online at ide/christian-music/praiseand-worship/worship-athome-part-2.html, are excerpts from a recent survey that reveals insight into the personal prayer and worship practices of men and women from diverse backgrounds. MEALS OF HOPE Is your will standing in God s way? What do I mean by will? Let s look at some definitions from the dictionary. Will is defined as: Deliberate intention or wish. Free discretion; inclination or pleasure; To decide on; choose. To make a choice; choose. God created us with a free will. Meals of Hope Even though God created us in His likeness, we are not like God because of our tendency to sin. Sin separates us from God. God says, All [of us] have sinned and come short of the glory [likeness] of God who is Himself perfect and without sin. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world [us], but to save it. God says, I set before you today life and prosperity, or death and destruction. Is your will standing in God s way? Why not make a decision of your will right now and choose life. ---A message delivered by Carolyn Johnson at Meals of Hope, March 30, 2012

Brother Alfred Howard opened with singing and a solo was sung by one of the inmates. Evangelist Jean Waites-Howard delivered the message: Beginning with the testimony of her friend, Sister Aquilla who is now with the Lord, who was delivered from addiction and became a nun. DO YOU WANT TO BE WELL? DO YOU WANT TO BE CHANGED? Text: John 5:1-9 V.6 Do you really want to be changed (made well)? Receiving Christ requires a change on the inside. Accepting Christ is a personal decision. There is an awakening, an awareness that Christ is the answer. Are you ready to be changed? Are you willing to give your heart to Jesus? The women were told that God has a plan of success for their life. You receive this plan when you choose to submit to God. Honoring God opens the door to Deliverance Whatever you need Jesus has it. He's the only Way. "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no man gets to the Father, but by Me." (John 14:6) Other members of the ministry team also shared words of encouragement to the sisters.
