2 Worship Service There is none righteous, no not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. Romans 3:10-11 Prelude Welcome International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church Silent Prayer of Preparation Call to Worship *Hymn of Adoration Holy, Holy, Holy #87 (last stanza w/o accompaniment) *Invocation Confession of Sin Father, on this day when we are asked to devote particular attention to our brethren who are persecuted for their faith, we confess that we have often neglected them. We have enjoyed our freedom, and have not prayed for our brothers and sisters who are not free. We have worshiped in security, and forgotten those who worship in danger. Our lives are not threatened for our witness for Christ, and we have not always remembered to intercede for those whose lives are threatened for their witness for Christ. We are not imprisoned for our testimony, and we have sometimes forgotten those who are imprisoned for their testimony. For such neglect, and for all other sins we have committed since we last approached your holy throne, we humbly ask your forgiveness, in the name of your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen. We are exhorted in Scripture to be reconciled one to another, in all humility, as we prepare to rejoice together in our reconciliation to the Father through Jesus Christ by one Spirit. Our Mercy Needs offering will be received today along with our general offering. Please designate your check accordingly. Our November Mercy Needs Offering will go towards Puerto Rico Hurricane Maria Relief Efforts. International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church is Today. An insert from Voice of the Martyrs called I Commit to Pray has been inserted in the bulletin. On the back side are 3 bookmarks with 10 ways to pray. You are also encouraged to go to any or all of the websites listed below to get more information about individual prisoners and how to pray for them. 8 Focus on Missions Eddie & Annie Park/RUF/Brown RISD The new season started out great with over 100 people attending their first Friday night gathering. They continue to put forth the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for God is faithful, always has been and always will be to His church. Please pray that the leaders will establish a good weekly routine of ministry and demonstrating of love for one another and for the students they serve. Change in Office Hours Tomorrow the office will only be open from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. If you have an emergency and you need to talk to a pastor, you can contact Pastor Barry. His phone number is on the back of the bulletin. Harvest Party Thank you Thank you to all who helped with the Harvest Party. We appreciated your support in setting up, greeting our visitors, providing the petting zoo, and cleaning up the gym. Special thanks to the LCS 8th grade class in manning the games! Book Drive Joanna Goedeke has a service opportunity that she would like to share with the church. Her living learning community (the Make A Difference House) is partnering with the organization Brown Girl Fearless, to collect books for children living in homeless shelters and transitional homes. Books for kids from birth to 12th grade are requested. Donation boxes will be set up in both the church and school. Last day to donate will be before church service on the 26th of November. Open Hearts Reminder We are meeting this Monday night, November 6th at 7pm in the fellowship hall to discuss Orphan Sunday and the Christmas outreach event at The Children's Home in Catonsville. Please join us! Owings Mills/Reisterstown Small Group The Owings Mills/Reisterstown Small group will meet at the Fuhrers' home on November 10th at 7:30PM for Small Group. We will continue to explore the riches of Genesis 3, looking at the origin of Good and Evil. So read ahead and bring your insights and a refreshment. Randallstown Small Group Save the Date: The Randallstown Small Group will celebrate Thanksgiving on Sunday, November 19th after the worship service. All are welcome to attend our early Thanksgiving feast. Please contact Debbie Stetson to sign up.

9 Christmas Concert The Christmas concert is on Dec 16 and 17. If you would like to sing with the choir just for the Christmas concert, rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 8-9 for Christmas music. We are praying the Lord will increase our numbers, as several of our members have had to step down. Youth Group Youth Group is for 6-12 grade students every other Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. through 8:30 pm in the Block House. Join us for Youth Group in the block house TODAY. We are continuing Session 1 of Ravi Zacharias' "Ask" series. Youth Leaders are meeting at 5:30 this Sunday. On Friday we will be having FISH (Fellowship in Student's Homes) at Maxine Saylor's house. Please reach out to Maxine, Phill or Kelly for the address and more information. Thank You Dear Liberty Family, Thank you for the many prayers, cards, visits and expressions of love during my mother Patti's illness and her homegoing last week. We particularly thank Pastor Barry and the others who made the adventurous trek out to the viewing and Mom's funeral service. The Lord's unbreakable grip on my mother's soul sustained her - and it will continue to uphold my father Larry and the rest of our family. It comforts us to know our Saviour's embrace is now being fully enjoyed by Mom. It also comforts us to have a church family that rejoices and weeps with each other.
