Funeral Meal Ministry: I am looking for someone to take over the coordination of the Funeral Meal Ministry OR to co-coordinate the Funeral Meal Ministry with me. With the increase of hours for my job, I will not be able to be at the funeral lunches to help with set-up, serving and clean up. Before the Flood presents a riveting account of the dramatic changes now occurring around the world due to climate change, as well as the actions we as individuals and as a society can take to prevent catastrophic disruption of life on our planet. Woman s Story Program: Celebrate the life of St. Josephine Bakhita : Sr. Josephine was a former slave and the patron of human trafficking victims. She was born in southern Sudan in 1869 and died in Saint John Paul 11 canonized her in She was kidnapped as a young child and sold into slavery where she was cruelly treated. In this gathering her life and those of other women who experienced human trafficking in various forms will be shared. Sr. Josephine eventually became a Catholic, entered the Daughters of the Charity (Canossians) in Italy. St. John Paul 11 canonized her in This prayer service will include storytelling, prayer, reflection, small group sharing and music. Since human trafficking continues even to this day in many societies, including our own, it is a very relevant concern for us to be aware of it existence and pray for or brothers and sisters who are victimized as well as advocate to end human trafficking. Each couple will receive a book with two pages exactly alike. They would write responses to the questions then discuss their answers. There have been many Eucharistic miracles and the Holy Eucharist is the most treasured belief and source of grace that Catholics have.
