Shot on location in Rome and Poland, in close connection with the Vatican, this is the definitive epic film on the life of Pope John Paul II. Two powerful performances stun: Jon Voight s (which was Emmy-nominated) as Pope John Paul II, as well as Cary Elwes as the young Karol. To watch Pope John Paul II, go to hover over the WATCH tab, choose MOVIES from the drop-down menu, and scrolling down, select the film from the MODERN-DAY SAINTS section. Due to the violent and disturbing nature of some scenes in times of war and distress, parental pre-screening and guidance is recommended.

Auxiliary Bishop Andrew Cozzens will be the principal celebrant. St. Josemaria Escriva was chosen by the Lord to proclaim the universal call to holiness and to indicate that everyday life, its customary activities are a path towards holiness. It could be said that he was the saint of the ordinary. He was really convinced that, for whoever lives with an outlook of faith, everything offers an opportunity for a meeting with God, everything becomes a stimulus for prayer.
