Dear People of St. Cecilia and St. Thomas, as you know my short time of ministry in your parishes will be coming to an end soon. Effective May 1 st I have been appointed to serve as administrator of St. Martin s Church in St. Martin. While I am saddened to be leaving you, this new assignment (which is less than 4 minutes from my home) will allow me to serve more effectively at both the parish and at Helias Catholic High School. I am excited that your parishes will be receiving a new, full-time, resident administrator. Fr. Leonard K. Mukiibi deserves a warm welcome as he begins his first ministry in a new place, far away from home. Finally, at the request of the bishop and in collaboration with the Pastoral Council at St. Cecilia, the 7:00 p.m. Saturday Mass at that parish will cease beginning.
