Coming Together tells how Baptist women, united by the conviction that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is good news for all the women of the world, have come together across barriers of war, geography, language, and culture. YORKMINSTER PARK GALLERY James Ridyard s exhibition Framing Memory marks the opening of the new season. Using the frame as historical reference, James explores painting High Park from memory. His work is on display until October 8. October 9 November 11 Artist reception Sunday, October 10, 12:15-2 pm. Portraits by James MacDougall OSA. Exhibition features life-sized oils that the veteran portraitist is best known for as well as several intimate watercolour portrayals of African faces. In all the works, MacDougall reveals a deep fondness for his subjects. Memorial Service for Dr. Frederic Branscombe to be held on Thursday, October 14 at 2pm in the Sanctuary. Our volunteers need additional assistance for this very enriching service to our community. All volunteers would be greatly welcomed and we are particularly in need of male volunteers, and young people who would like to add to their community service requirement.
