4 Plunge in to VBS 2018! At Splash Canyon VBS, your children learn God keeps his promises on life s wild ride! They ll look into the Bible, God s Holy Word, and explore five Bible accounts where our faithful God keeps his promises to be with us and gives us life and hope through Jesus, our Savior. Registration is open for ages PK4 5th grades who will attend VBS from June 11 to June 15, from 8:00 am 12noon. Learn that all God s promises are Yes in Jesus! Altar Society Board Meeting Monday May 7th the Altar Society Board and Committee Chairpersons will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Bride/Conference Room. Unity Explosion 2018 June This Region X Evangelization Conference on Catholic liturgy, worship, lay leadership, faith-building, and evangelization will be presented by African-American Catholics to the Catholic church at large. Unity Explosion will be held at the historic Menger Hotel, San Antonio. This year s conference theme: Pray. Listen. Learn. Think. Act. The conference is sponsored by Region X of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and will be hosted by the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Those attending will witness the contributions of African-American Catholics, centered on the gifts of sustained faith, shared faith experiences, proclamation of God s Word, song, and sacred movement.
