3 A Message from our Pastor Thanks to all! A sincere word of thanks to all who have assisted in our celebrations during the Christmas Season. The music which lifted our hearts in prayer by our musicians and singers was absolutely beautiful. Those who helped decorate the Church so beautifully helped us enter into the beauty of the Incarnation and receive God's Love for us in sending Our Savior into the world. We needed extra liturgical ministers and plenty stepped up, many changing family plans to serve their Church family. Thank you so much for your flexibility and devotion. Treats upon treats were brought to the parish office, and the entire staff is grateful for the thoughtfulness, time and effort you made to remember them. We enjoyed receiving your cards and wishes for the Christmas Season and the New Year. Some of you took envelopes off the giving tree and purchased gifts that brought joy to the hearts of many who Calendar of Events were in need, while others organized and delivered the gifts. Christmas food baskets were not only prepared and delivered, but also filled with food and other items that you provided as well. Our gratitude is extended to all of you who purchased, provided, prepared and delivered in an effort to help those in need. In the end, we cannot celebrate Jesus' Incarnation unless we also see Him in all and serve our brothers and sisters in need. Your help truly made our Christmas celebration complete. Thanks so much! I also want to personally thank you for your kindness and generosity in making my first Christmas here so very special. I can't tell you how much your kind words, cards, notes, food and gifts are appreciated. Your generosity and kindness certainly have continued to help me feel most welcome and more settled at St. Pius X as our transition continues. God willing, I very much look forward to many years of serving you. May God Bless you all in the coming year, the greatest blessing being a greater presence of Jesus in our lives. Thanks again, Fr.
