Psalm 27:1 STEWARDSHIP Peter, James and John wanted to build a booth for Jesus and just stay on the mountain where His transfigura on took place. But the Son of God, the Chosen One knew that He must instead keep moving toward His crucifixion. We, too, must rise from worship and do what we can to hasten the coming of the kingdom. Thursday: Building Better Relationships: Graces for Growth Father Gallagher conducts retreats, parish development programs, parish missions, and religious educa on workshops. He has an interna onal reputa on in conduc ng retreats for priests. He was instrumental in founding Emmaus in Great Britain. He has presented ecumenical lectures at the Jean XXIII Centre, Switzerland. For the past several years, he has worked closely with the US Armed Forces at various military bases around the world. Sacred Heart Parish offers sympathy to Ski Wojciechowski for the death of his brother, John. May the souls of all our beloved faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

RISE UP NEWS! On Saturday, March 2 nd, 17 teens/tweens traveled to the Bolles Bartram Campus in Jacksonville for RISEUP! Catholic festival which included outdoor games, a DJ, fellowship, fun and food trucks during the day. In the evening, we listened and danced to national Catholic recording band ALOB belt out their contemporary Christian tunes and international Catholic motivational speaker Emily Wilson who inspired us with her faith. The highlight of the evening was the intimate experience of Eucharistic Adoration. As we prayed and sang, Jesus stilled our hearts and filled us with peace, contentment and joy. Please join me in prayer for the 16 youth who chose to dedicate their Saturday night, becoming stronger Disciples of Christ: Emily Bourré, Braydon Carmichael, Ashton Carmichael, Barbara Casillas, Gabby Delegato, Luke Delegato, John Paul Latino, Josef Latino, Sophia Latino, Joe McFarland, Andy Motil, Rafael Naar, A.J. Olivolo, Kyle Shannon, Emily Sutton, Rachel Sutton, and Grayson Sweeny-Baumgarner. A big thank you goes out to : Mr. Dana Latino, Mr. Shawn McFarland, Mr. Arnel Motil, Mrs. Geraldine Motil, Mr. Scott Olivolo, and Mrs. Annette Shannon who made it possible for us to attend by driving and chaperonlng. 4 In Our Parish... STAND FIRM IN THE LORD It is not hard to imagine, in this age of wars, evil groups bent on the destruc on of humanity, and poli cal follies, that the words of Saint Paul were so accurate, even for his me. It seems that the world never changes. Paul says, Many... conduct themselves as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is their destruc on... Their minds are occupied with earthly things (Philippians 3:18, 19). The result is the destruc on of innocent people and of the Earth itself. But Paul says to the Philippians, our ci zenship is in heaven, and from it we also await a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (3:20). He will change our lowly body to conform with his glorified body (3:21). Note that he says body rather than bodies. He is talking about the whole community of believers, who, following the example of Jesus and of Paul, will come into the glory of God. So stand firm in the Lord (4:1). Copyright J. S. Paluch Co. PRAYER AND HEALING MINISTRY The Prayer and Healing Ministry is available every Monday evening at 7pm in Building A where all are welcome to join us! This is me set aside to place ourselves in the Presence of the Holy Spirit; for prayer and praise. All are welcome! Each month on the 3 rd Monday, Prayer Ministers are available for private prayer in the Brides Room a er the 8am mass and 7pm in Building A. All prayer sessions are kept in the strictest confidence.
