3 BISHOP S APPEAL Our Bishop s Appeal assessment is $28, A er the weekend of July 14-15th, we have received 113 gi s/pledges to total $29, We have surpassed our assessment. We would truly like to thank all of our parishioners for their generosity. SUMMER FAIR Our summer fair / garage sale and basket raffle will be Saturday August 11th in Corinth. Dona- on of food for the FOOD SALE will be appreciated. Items for the GARAGE SALE can be brought to the Parish Center a er August 1st between 8:30am 11:30am Monday thru Friday or before or a er Masses. For pickup, call Louise Carney or the office. BETHANY GUILD SALE During the Hadley-Luzerne Town Wide Garage Sale on August 18th, the Bethany Guild will have a sale. Dona ons of gently used ar cles No clothing please may be le in the hall downstairs on Sunday 9am-12:30pm and/or on Mondays between 1pm and 3pm. SECOND COLLECTION Today is the Peter s Pence Collec on, a worldwide collec on that supports the charitable works of Pope Francis. Funds from this collec- on help vic ms of war, oppression, and natural disasters. Take this opportunity to join with Pope Francis and be a witness of charity to our suffering brothers and sisters. We would love to have you. LUNCHEON AT LUZERNE SITE There will be a luncheon following the 10:45 Mass on July 29th for all parishioners. We hope that our Corinth churchgoers will a end. CORINTH S BICCENTENNIAL PARADE On Saturday, August 18th, the Corinth Bicentennial Parade will be held. We would like to have our parish represented in this parade in some way. If anyone has sugges ons, or could provide a trailer or truck for a float, please let Louise Carney know at We do have some decora ons available and it could be something simple. We would like adults and children to par cipate. Thank you for your considera on. We hope you can help. The more the merrier. COUNTERS NEEDED The Luzerne site is in need of money counters a er the 10:45am Mass on Sundays un l Labor Day. Anyone interested in helping, please call the Parish Office. ALTAR DECORATIONS Thank you to Louise Carney and Paula Sau er for the altar decora ons for the month of July. Joy Rimal and Mike Callahan will be doing the decora- ons for August. FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH The second collec on next week is for fuel and maintenance for the parish. The first Sunday is also when we collect dona ons for the food pantries in Corinth and Luzerne. Non-perishable food items are accepted. There is also a basket for cash dona- ons to buy hamburg and chicken.
