St. Theresa, New Cumberland Our Lady of Lourdes, Enola Good Shepherd, Camp Hill CONTINUING THE VISION BUILDING UPDATE This past week construction of the office expansion was completed and, with some final touches still to be done, the offices have moved into the new building. The new office area was open for business on Wednesday and from this time on parish business will be conducted in the new area. The door into the new area is still located in the chapel narthex. A new door into the waiting area has been installed. The next phase of the project is the renovation of the former office area. This work commenced on Tuesday of last week and should take about 4 or 5 weeks to complete. A word of thanks to those who do business with the Parish Office for your patience and to the Parish Staff for their assistance and patience during the move. An open house will be announced after the work in both the old and the new areas is completed, probably sometime after Easter. Thank you also once again to all who have made financial commitments to this project. It is an enhancement to the parish facilities and a big help to the efficiency of the business activity of the Parish Office. Annual Solemn Eucharistic Devotions Forty Hours will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Parish next week from Sunday, March 3, to Tuesday, March 5. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed after the last morning Mass and will be reposed at a closing service each evening at 7:00 p.m. Monsignor William King will be the homilist each evening. Monday evening the Religious Education students in grades 1 and 3-7 will attend the service. On Tuesday evening the First Communion Students and Confirmation Students will attend. Liturgical Ministers (i.e. altar servers, lectors, and Special Ministers of Holy Communion) are invited to join the procession on Tuesday evening. Participation in these devotions, taking time during the day to make a visit, and spending some reflective time with sacred scripture and spiritual reading are ways of acknowledging the Lord s presence in our midst in the Eucharist and special opportunities to grow deeper in God s grace and wisdom. Take advantage of this blessing for the parish.
