MONTHLY HOLY HOUR FOR PERSONAL AND WORLD CONVERSION On the first Wednesday of each month we have a Eucharistic Holy Hour in Church following our regular 9:00am Wednesday Mass. The Holy Hour will be held from 9:30am 10:30am and will conclude with Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament. The next Holy Hour is this Wednesday, October 3 rd. All are welcome, please join us. Our Lady of Sorrows Helping cook food for a family who has lost a loved one is a great help and comfort to those in grief. We are in need of volunteers for this ministry. Diocese of Lafayette Youth - Centennial Fest Honoring our Diocesan Centennial with our young people throughout the Diocese of Lafayette, we will have a Youth Gathering at Parc International Downtown Lafayette on Saturday, October 20 th from 3pm to 8pm and will include Music, Guest Speakers, Mass, Food and closing with a Candlelight Eucharistic Adoration with Bishop Deshotel. Our Youth, All Youth Groups, Families, Clergy and Religious are invited. Please mark your calendars now. This will be a great opportunity to see the Life of Our Faith. Admission will be free (food for purchase will be available). Men's Homeless Shelter needs personal hygiene items & bath towels. Travelers are encouraged to donate hotel items collected during travels. Specific Needs: shampoo, razors, soap, deodorants, & toothpaste. Washcloths and towels are greatly needed as well, they can be new or used (cleaned.) With the increasing cost of construction, prices have gone up on the new mausoleum crypts. Nativity of Our Lady has for sale some crypts in our previously-constructed mausoleums. I wanted to give parishioners an opportunity to buy crypts in our older mausoleum at reduced prices. Nativity of Our Lady currently has 4 double crypts on the top row for $8,190 each. The price for a double crypt on the top row in the new mausoleum is $9,850 each. If anyone is interested in considering the purchase of these Nativity-owned crypts at the cheaper prices, please call our church office and we can show you where they are located.
