ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Daily from 8 AM until 7 PM HOLY HOUR INCLUDING ROSARY AND BENEDICTION Every Tuesday evening beginning at 6:00 PM Hospitalization If a family member is hospitalized, please inform the Rectory to arrange a visit and to be remembered in our prayers. MARRIAGE Couples contemplating marriage must contact the priest at least 6 months in advance to make an appointment to discuss marriage preparations. 3 100th Anniversary Gala Tickets: What you ve All been Waiting For On Sale NOW! Ticket Packets for our Centennial Gala that will be held at Rivercrest in Phoenixville on April 28 will be sold beginning March 3 after Sunday Mass. We accept cash, check and credit card. The ticket packet will include a menu selection which must be returned to the box labeled Gala Celebration Menu RSVP Cards in the narthex by April 14 th. The price is $50 per ticket, 18 years and older will be able to purchase tickets, there will be a cash bar. There will only be 300 tickets available. As always St. Joseph Parishioners will be given first priority. All reservations must be prepaid. NO TICKETS will be SOLD at the door. We will be selling Ticket Packets after all masses beginning March 9, 16, 23, and 30 or until the 300 tickets are sold out. 4 St. Joseph s and the Sis ne Chapel Most of us are familiar with the art of Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel especially the famous painting of the creation of Adam. Probably less known are the works of other artists including Botticelli, Perugino, and Rosselli who created a series of frescos on the two long walls of the Chapel. One wall depicts the Story of Christ ; the opposite wall depicts the Story of Moses. The paintings that face each other show the connection of Old and New Testaments. For example, the fourth painting of the series deals with the Law. On one side is Moses Descent from Mount Sinai and on the facing wall Christ s Sermon on the Mount. Moses: bearer of the Old Law; Christ: revealing the New. Our new windows will follow a similar plan showing the connections between two Joseph s: New Testament Saint Joseph and the Old Testament Joseph. Our windows also highlight St. Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church and Mary as Mother of the Church.
