2 Webb's Chapel To Begin Week Of Revival Sunday MACCLESFIELD Revival services will begin Sunday at the Webb's Chapel Baptist Chmll m Macclesfield with the ffev. James W. Herron,.pastor of Five Point Missionary Baptist Church in Wilson, as the '8'1est speaker. The revival will continue through Saturday, Oct. 31. The Sunday service is also the HomecomingHarvest Sunday observance. The church will also emphasize the near ing goal of construction of a ne)v church building. The Rv. Herron bas served churches in both North and South Carolina. He received his education at the college of Charleston and Southeastern jseminary. 4 At Five Points Church Herron Family Is Hooored Stmday A reception Sunday evening in the Fellowship Hall of the Five Points Missionary Baptist Church honored the Rev...aJl!! Mrs. James W. Herron and sons, Robert and Warren. The Herrons have moved to Orangeburg, S. C. where the Rev. Mr. Herron accepted the pastorate at Northside Baptist Church. More than 250 members of the church family and friends attended the event held in appreciation to the minister and his family for their service to the local church. Following a welcome by Millard Mantooth, chairman of the Board of Deacons, William S. caudle, minister of music and education, and Mrs: Caudle, presented a scroll to the honorees containing humorous sidelights of the Rev. Mr. Herron's ministry here. An engraved silver tray was presented to the couple as a gift from the church family. Making the presentation was Lawrence Williams, church deacon. Don Holloman, church deacon, made a third presentation to the former Wilson minister. It was a check to be used by the Rev. Mr. Herron for a trip to the Holy Land during December. Herron, pastor of Northslde Baptist Church in Orange. burg, SC, has accepted pastorship of First Baptist Church 1n Hudson. Rev. Herron succeeds Rev. George Williamson as pastor. He will move to the ud n church on August 20th. Rev. Williamson has retired from active ministry. A native of Bamberg, SC, Rev. Herron was baptized into Heights Bap. Church in Char leston, SC in He was ordained to the Christian Ministry by the Char leston Heights Baptist Church at the request of the Citadel Square Baptist Church, in Charleston. Rev.
