2 K n o w i n g A l l a h A l F a t t a h 2 25 th February, Introduction Allah said in the Quran that the most beautiful Names that belongs to Allah alone. The Name is beautiful and its meaning is beautiful. The more you know Allah the more you will be happy and consoled with Allah. This is the real happiness of life. We need to know Allah and His beautiful Names. Once you know one Name of Allah you will see that your life will start to change completely. There is no full stop to Allah s Names. Allah will teach you according to your level of faith. Allah will teach you about Islam according to your level. Your heart will open to the knowledge of Islam slowly. Surah Fatiha is an opening of the Quran. We recite this Surah in every Salah. We need to apply this in our lives. It will take out sickness from your heart. We have done Surah Fatiha till Maaliki Yaum id deen. We will continue from here. We see that in the beginning that we are praising Allah taala because He is the Rabb then we say that you are the most merciful. We lower ourselves by saying you are the Lord of this world. We get closer to Allah by praising Him. We are magnifying Allah by saying that He is the king of the worlds. We love Allah we are hoping from Allah and we fear Allah.

3 K n o w i n g A l l a h A l F a t t a h 3 On the Day of Judgment we will be going alone on the Day of Judgment. Everybody will be like they are alone in front of Allah. Everybody will be scared in a nafsi nafsi state. We say again and again maaliki yaum id deen to remember this meeting. Everyone will be naked but no one will even pay attention because of the over whelming day. We are just carrying our deeds with us. The kingdom belongs to Allah alone. It gives you a console that Allah the most merciful who is merciful to us more than our own selves will be judging us. Allah will roll the seven heaven and grasped the earth in His hands then Allah will say where those tyrants are and pride people?

4 K n o w i n g A l l a h A l F a t t a h 4 All of these ayat should be preparing our heart for that big Day and you need to carry this task with you. You can t avoid this Day. Allah opens according to our heart. Ibn Qayyim wrote a book just on Iyaa ka na budu wa iya ka nastaeen. When we say this in salat then Allah says that this is between me and my servant. This is because half is Allah s right and half our right. Allah will never leave you and guide you to the straight path. You need to fulfill the contract so that Allah gives you guidance. Let us open our heart and ask Allah for forgiveness because sins are an obstacle to Hidaya. The first part and the second part starts with iyaaka which means you and only you. It is to make it specifically for Allah Taala. We say that we all worship you and we all rely on You. This shows that Allah is teaching us that we all have to worship Allah in groups. This removes all jealousy and pride. This will remove all sicknesses of the heart. All the sicknesses of the heart are cured from this one Ayat. When your heart is sick then your body will be sick too. We get pains and hurts because Allah wants to clean us. We sometimes say that we are reading Ayat ul kursi but still we are not protected so this is because of the belief. The words are effective only because of the belief you have in it. Surah Fatiha is the cure for all sicknesses of the heart. We know that worship is very important and noble task for us and we need to be prepared to worship Allah. We need to prepared our heart so we have said the previous words for preparation. We need to love Allah and fill our self with the love of Allah and His hopes. We need to say that we need to attach to Allah alone. Only You we worship. This is the right of Allah on us. Allah is teaching us that we should say this. We say that we will really submit to You completely. We need to be smooth with Allah and be in the color of Allah. If Allah wants us to do this then we do this if He stops from something then we stop. This is the greatest honor that we worship Allah alone.

5 K n o w i n g A l l a h A l F a t t a h 5 Humbling and humiliation for Allah is in reality to make yourself high. We have this inborn quality in us that we have to bow to someone and attach to someone. So if we don t obey Allah then we will obey someone other than Allah for sure. We need to believe whatever Allah tells us and we are saying Oh Allah I believe whatever You tell me to do. Before we tell someone that you need to do this or do that we need to tell people to praise Allah. We cannot worship Allah until we love Him deeply. When we know this then we will come in the place to worship Allah. We will know that we need to attach only to Allah. It s an honor to be a servant of Allah rather than someone else. If you will not attach to Allah then you will worship many things and you will not be at peace. We will say that we worship Allah because nobody deserves worship except Allah. We worship Allah because He is our Rabb and He deserves to be worshipped. We exist in this world because Allah made us to exist to worship Allah. Allah says in the Quran that Allah created Man and Jinn only for the worship of Allah. We were created to worship Him. Allah will not benefit from our worship. This is so that we elevate ourselves to go to paradise. If Jinns and humans don t worship then they are not worthy. If a laptop is used as a tray then it s worth is lost and it will be useless. We see how to use it from its owner s instruction manual. So Allah created humans and jinn for His worship so if we don t do it then we reduce our worth. To have an honored position we need to worship Allah. This is the remedy for the sickness of the heart. Habeel and Kabeel both did the sacrifice but Allah accepted from one only because he did it nicely and sincerely and then this caused jealousy and the brother who got jealous killed the other one. So a sickness of the heart will turn into your limbs. We should not say that we worship Allah alone but then attach our self to someone else then Allah will not accept. We need to worship Him alone. He is the richest and nothing can be attached with Him. Allah will not accept if we attach someone else with Him. Allah is taking care of us day and night so how can we attach to someone else. This is the rights of Allah. The Prophet

6 K n o w i n g A l l a h A l F a t t a h 6 Muhammad sallelao alihi wasslam said that the right of Allah is that you worship Him. The moment you attach someone else than Allah then Allah will test you with that same thing and you will get disappointed with them so that we go back to Allah and ask Him alone. This is good for us. We should be attached to Allah to the extent that we feel that we can t live without Allah. Everybody in this world will leave you but Allah will not leave you. People will sleep but Allah will not even feel sleepy. He is free from this faults. So we need to attach to Allah alone and we should be doing everything for Him.
