Allah has commanded us to ask Dua with the Names of Allah. You need to know Allah so that you know how to use this name in Duaa. Invoke Allah by His Names and Attributes. Allah loves whoever loves His Names and Reflect on the Names of Allah. When you hear about the Names of Allah and believe in them then you will feel that all the gates of Names of ALLAH Al Fattah Page 1

2 goodness will open onto you. Every single part of your body should feel submission and love of Allah. You cannot go to Paradise without knowing Allah. Allah out of His generosity and Kindness will put His love in your heart gradually because you cannot bear it all together. Allah loves you to know about Him. Recap We just did one meaning of AL Fattah that is opening. One meaning we learned of Al Fatah is to open by decree and this happens in the duniya and akhira. Allah opens the gates of the duniya for the believer so that he goes through a test and elevate in rank and for the sinner, it is just to indulge in sin. For the akhira Allah opens the heart to knowledge, good deeds, and faith. The impact of these openings is the 1) Openings of the sky 2) Key for everything 3) You to be a key. The end result of is that you should feel poor to Allah, and desperate. Only Allah can open the gates and no one else. Had we not had Allah Al Fatah, everything will be closed. You should feel desperate to Allah s opening and in need of His openings. Another meaning One meaning of Al Fattah is open, which is to separate and another meaning is judgment. Allah will gather us and open between us, meaning to judge between us. For us we want our judgment and rights right now, but it is not for us to decide, but Allah Al Fattah. 3 There are people who believe in the Messenger and those who do not believe in them. So the Messenger says that Allah will gather us and then Judge between us. He knows when to judge and how to judge. How will be opening by judgment Opening by His judgment according to His legislation Rules When a ruler has power, he makes judgment in putting laws. One is rules and legislations and the other is recompense based on those laws. This part is resembling the name Al Wahab, the Bestower, and another meaning of Al Fatah is resembling Al Hakim Al Haakim the One who judges you. Names of ALLAH Al Fattah Page 3

4 Allah has made some laws for this universe to function and hence the universe is functioning accordingly. Who decided for us to have one heart limbs and everything else this is from Allah. Opening through Ad Deen Ash Sharaee Allah has judged for us to have Islam, it is important for us to follow the rules and legislations of Allah in order to have inner-peace. We need to know about Allah Al Fatah Who Opens with Judgment. We believe in our brains more than we believe in Allah, and submission is to believe in Allah. When we know about Allah AL Fattah then we can follow these rules easily. Allah sent the rules and regulations of Halaal and Haraam to us through Angel Jibreel to the Messengers in the form of divine book. People who do not know Allah are living in darkness and then they start to speak words of kufr. Everything from Allah is what makes sense. Allah chose from all of His creation, messengers, and of those messengers, Allah made them the determined ones, and of them, Allah picked the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) to be the final messenger and to receive the Quran. This is opening by judgment. And it is Allah that chooses the companions and the scholars to bring back the religion to its original form. The revelation is protected from the Satan until the message is conveyed to the messengers. Allah protected the deen in this way. Ad Deen has everything that is required by the humans so that you will be successful in the world and the Hereafter. All that you need in this life is in the Quran and the Sunnah. That is why the deen of Islam suits all nationalities, all background, everyone. You can t find another book that suits everyone. This religion and its rules and legislations are made to reform us. When you look at each messenger and what rules and legislations Allah opened for them is what suits the people at the time, but all of them had the same underlying message of Anything Prophet Mohamed (pbuh) says or when placed in a situation, are all opened by judgment. Even the Zikr he used to do is part of religion and opening from Allah. His whole life is deen, that s why there are no secrets in the life of the Prophet (pbuh). Names of ALLAH Al Fattah Page 4

5 Opening by truth The deen is an opening in general for everyone. The religion, deen, is an opening from Allah. Our deen is to follow the Prophet Mohamed (pbuh) in general, and sometimes we fall in situations that no one is going through, and you want to know the truth at that very moment that is opening by truth. When you are going through something, you can t just open the Quran and whatever page you open to is your solution. When you need to judge, you need to know the truth, and to get that truth, you need Allah Al Fatah. For example, if two children are giving two different stories, who will you believe? You think you can find the truth, but if you don t know the truth about yourself, then you need to ask Allah Al Fatah to show you the truth. When the actions of your heart are fleeing to Allah then you are going towards Allah. You should feel in your heart that Oh Allah You are Al Fattah and you can give me the answer. We should want our heart to feel busy with the remembrance of Allah and feel attached to Allah. You are dealing with Allah. When you turn your heart a little, Allah will come running to you. Allah will give you the truth, the reality of yourself, and the people around you. Knowing yourself Sometimes we are living a lie, deceiving ourselves, thinking we re good, so we need Allah to show us our reality. People go to personality quizzes, but this is made by people, who will show you your true personality, it is Allah. When you know the reality of yourself, then you can purify yourself. Stress happens when we feel we need to investigate and search, but when you have tawakul on Allah, then Allah Al Fatah will show you the truth. I need to know the reality of myself, because I f I did not then it will lead me to destruction because I have a self-commanding to evil. Sometimes someone praises you and you do not deserve the praise. You need to believe that I cannot do it on my own you need to rely on Allah. Our own nafs thinks that we are perfect and we are not doing anything wrong and hence we keep on doing wrong without knowing so we need to ask Allah to guide us and reform us by opening our reality on ourselves. 6 Judging others You don t want to judge others wrongly either. So you ask Allah that you are Al Fattah with Haqq. Sometimes we become hasty in judging a person and we make a mistake. Sometimes a person approaches us that we do not like, and we judge them by their behavior or appearance, so we should ask Allah Al Fatah to help us judge and show us the truth. Sometimes you might find the one you didn t like, you end up being close to, and the one you thought you would be close to ends up being distant. We are not here to judge others and conclude about them ask Allah to show you the truth. We need to see the truth to see the reality of the world, so that we are not deceived by it. It s the worst thing to think that we lived this life as Muslims and then our deeds don t get accepted in the akhira. If you do not know yourself then you will go bankrupt in the Akhira. For this you need to rely on Allah completely. Trial or blessings In the Quran, spouses, children, wealth are described in different verses as a blessing, a fitna, and enemies. You need to decide now what the reality in the situation you are facing is. When you see that they are bringing you closer to Allah, then it is a blessing. If the children, spouse, wealth are lessening your faith then they are a fitna or enemy. They will put you in trouble and lessen your faith. Children have everything at home and they will say I m bored, this shows ingratitude. It is not a fitna for them but a fitna for you, because at that moment it is not a blessing, because you are afraid that one ingratitude of one child might take away the blessing. You want to have a solution for this situation so you might do something wrong. In your heart you should feel scared that may Allah not take this blessing away from me just because of ingratitude. At this moment you need to realize that this is ingratitude that is opening of the truth for this situation. Family are all as one company. We have to be grateful to Allah always in all situations.
