2 13 th May, 2014 Introduction: When we have something we feel blessed that we have a gift and we miss them later. It is good for us that we attach to Allah because we need it. This will not harm Allah. We need to attach to Allah with taqwa. If a human being gives he will give out of humiliation. If someone has bad relations then they stop giving gifts. Allah never stops and no power can stop the gift. When Allah gives us something we need to give out of happiness. Everything from Allah is gift but in Quran there are certain types mentioned. Types of gift: Spouses and children. This gift is righteous spouse and children.

3 This Ayah is about Ayuub (AS) as he was tested with everything but he remained patient throughout. Allah commanded again for him and granted him with a gift of giving back his family and he also got additional members. This was after he was patient and he thought good about Allah. We should believe that Allah is Al Wahaab and the more you think about Him as Al wahaab the more gifts you will receive. All what you will get from Allah will be coolness of your eyes because its mercy from Allah. At the same time its also a reminder for others. We should take lesson from this; we should understand the actions of Allah. If you see someone with 10 children then either people become amazed or they will feel sorry for the women. This is wrong reaction as this story comes to us as a test and it s scratching our faith. If we comment on such thing then our Eman will be affected. Our focus should be on Allah and His actions. Whatever we hear or see is a fitnah for us because Allah is looking at our reaction.

4 This is another type of gift which is amazing. This is the story of Zakariya(AS). He is mentioned in Surah Maryam that he made duas to Allah for a child in a very old age and his wife was barren. He made duas without any means. He didn t think about the situation and he wanted a son to carry the message of Allah and not for his personal benefit. Sometimes we think that material things are gifts but in Quran righteous spouse and righteous children are the most important gifts. Allah responded to him immediately. Allah gave him Yahya(AS). Allah gave him the name Yahya. Allah knows what to give and when to give. Allah is telling us in the Quran so that we lesson from this. When Allah gave him the son so Allah made the means this is to show that Allah give you gifts after preparation of the means, Allah cured his wife. Nothing is impossible for Allah. Zakaria (AS) mind was not worldly mind their focus was on the Here after. They were calling to Allah with hope and fear. This shows their attitude and Allah gave them for Akhirah. Sometimes we have children who have a bossy personality then ask Allah to make him for Allah alone. This will be sadaqa e jariah for you.

5 Allah is telling that if Allah wants to give He will prepare you. When you want to have kids then don t worry about their future because Allah will prepare for all means. If you say that I can t have children then Allah will not give you so if Allah gave you then you are capable. Ibrahim (AS) is discussed here; he didn t have children until he was old. He didn t have children initially because it was not good for him as he was living in a disbeliever country. When he left his people he had two sons and all his off springs and all the anbiah came from his generation. He is called abbu al anbiah. Ibrahim had Ishaaq and Ismail (AS). Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is from ismail (As) and the rest are from ishaaq (AS). Allah gave him children at the best time. This is including his offspring that all leaders will be from this generation. Allah made all the children righteous. Whether a sister is married or not married, have children or not we should know that there is a time for this. Sometimes we doubt Allah s ability when we are tested. So we need to rely on Allah completely. Allah brought Ibrahim from a disbeliever that was his father. So never think that how can my sister or brother will come to hidaya. These leaders are those who guide others. This is a honor and it s a blessing. Ask Allah to give your children a good personality. If you have a righteous son then use all duas and learn with them. We always ask for children that he should have string personality. If you have troubling kids then that is

6 according to capacity. If your son is praying salah then thank Allah a lot for this and this is a gift from Allah. Daud (AS) had a son who was prophet and they were both kings. Allah gave Daud (AS) a son Suleiman (AS) as a son, who was righteous, he was a prophet and a king. Daud(AS) is repenting to Allah (SWT). Allah told us all these stories so that we believe that Allah taala is the Lord and He is Al Wahaab.

7 This Duaa is for everyone in all ages. You can ask this even when your daughter or son didn t reach puberty. Teach your children this Duaa. The servant of Allah made this Duaa. They asked O our Rabb gift us with spouse who is coolness of our eyes. Never stop making this Duaa, teach others also. You didn t just ask for righteous but in addition to that you ask for coolness of eyes that is you will feel happy by just looking at them. Don t look at your situation and think that this is not possible now, ask with complete faith. Allah can change your spouse that you have now. Prepare your children with this Duaa. A righteous husband or wife is one of the greatest gift from Allah (SWT)
