1 CABOT UMC NEWS A community of faith striving to be Spirit-filled while experiencing Christ s limitless transformation through relationships, worship and service. After Christ was resurrected, he told the disciples to wait for the promised power of the Holy Spirit so that they could be witnesses to His resurrection in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit empowered each disciple to declare the gospel. The new church continued to grow rapidly because the Holy Spirit was now available to all who believed! Please read Chapter 28 New Beginnings for this coming Sunday, April 8th. Journaling questions have been sent via the church app and are also available on the church website under the corresponding sermon title.
