This group will serve individuals and young couples from college-age to late-20 s. The group meets at 10 AM Sundays in room E103 in the Wesley Center. All are welcome to attend as we look to grow our faith together and discuss issues facing young adults today. For more information, please contact Jeni Rooney, Kathleen Burk or The Bridge The Bridge Fellowship Hour will continue to offer coffee. But due to a lack of interest to provide breakfast snacks, we will no longer be able to offer food every Sunday. We encourage you to continue to visit after early services and before the Sunday school hour. Study at Women s Prison As a volunteer for the Chaplain s office, I sometimes teach classes in the Principle and Applications for Life unit, the spiritual unit, at the women s prison in Newport I am teaching the Lenten Study, 24 Hours that Changed the World, by Adam Hamilton, at the women s prison. If any of you have copies of the book, DVD or Leader s Guide that you are willing to contribute, please leave them in the office, or give to Eula Adams. Thanks, Beth Leverett R&R dinner

Room E 120 WOMEN'S SUNDAY AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY A study on 1 Peter A Living Hope in Christ by Jen Wilkin will be meeting starting in January on the 2 nd and 4 th Sundays 4:00-6:00pm and is hosted in homes. WOMEN S WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY Women s Wednesday Bible study continues tomorrow at 10am in Crusaders classroom, with leader Shandra Cameron...the book is 1 Corinthians. UMW The United Methodist Women is an organization focused on local, national and international missions. Founded by 8 women in 1869, UMW has grown to over 800,000 members today. CUMC has three active Circles Alice Murrell Circle, Circle of Faith, and WOW Circle with approximately 95 members. Local mission work includes providing for underprivileged school children, domestic abuse centers, food pantries, incarcerated persons, stillborn layettes and parent bereavement rooms, cancer units, and the pregnancy center. If you would like more information in joining a Circle, please contact Eula Adams, CUMC UMW President, at or eadams1992@gmail.com. CDC Council Meeting Our first meeting of the year will be on February 7th in the library at 5:30. We will have scheduled meetings every other month with occasional meetings as needed in between. If Tuesdays at 5:30 does not work for you, please let me know and we can adjust. I'll have the rest of the year's dates to hand out at the meeting.
